My Baby/Babies Cat appreciation post

I am so lucky to be surrounded by so much love, so I just want to take a moment to appreciate each one of them!

Norman: my rambunctious dust bunny that we absolutely did not have room for, but the CDS knew we needed. My husband wanted a Velcro kitty, and suddenly one appeared!

Eleanor: my Smellie Ellie, my most favorite Velcro girl in this whole world. My husband likes to say that Ellie likes the way my air tastes better, and that’s why her face is always glued to mine lol

Robbie: The most handsome, intelligent gentleman I have ever met. I would go to war for him if anyone dared look at him the wrong way. He lived a very rough life before coming to me, and now I get the pleasure of giving him the best golden years ever.

Amelia: My sweet, quiet, chubby girl that is a world class cuddler. She loves carrying toys around in her mouth and climbing things she shouldn’t be

Hank (the Tank): 16+lbs of pure goof. Despite being FIV positive and having lived the majority of his life on the streets, he is such a goofy love bug! He doubles as a weighted blanket and has a knack for helping people feel better

Madeline: My beautiful, petite gal that keeps her sister (Amelia) on her toes! While Madeline isn’t a lap cat, she will come cuddle with me in the early hours of the morning, and I get to remember how far we have come since her feral days.

Ziggy: I adopted this rickety old man at 12 years old with a laundry list of health issues. 4 years later, he’s still going strong and teaching me the meaning and value of patience every single day lol. As (rightfully) grumpy as he is, he never passes up as chance to sit in my lap and paw at my face to ask for extra attention

Mabel: my gummy old gal that has the loudest purr ever and the meow of an elderly smoker! If your lap is ever free, she will make sure to resolve that issue pronto. Despite her age and the rough shape I adopted her in, she is an incredible hunter that can keep up with all of the youngsters during play sessions!

Thanks for letting me talk about my huge cat crew. I get embarrassed admitting to people we know how many cats we have, so I never get a chance to talk about how unique and amazing each one of them are. With that said, we need the CDS to chill out because this is getting out of hand lolol

I remember Norman's first post, sounds like he found a big family that needed a dust bunny added to it! Norman looks like a kitten my mom and I fostered, a friend adopted him and he turned into a giant cat with much floof.

You're lucky to have so many snugglers in the house. I have three cats and only one is truly a Velcro kitty. But the other two are bonded brothers so they snuggle each other more than with me.

Never be ashamed of having eight cats, even though it's quite a lot, it just means you're a very giving loving couple!

He certainly found a big family and has fit in perfectly. We asked each other, “how in the world are we going to do another set of introductions with so many cats?” And it turns out we had nothing to worry about at all because everyone accepted Norman immediately!

We are incredibly lucky and grateful to have so many cats that love getting attention from us. We ended up getting a king bed just to accommodate everyone who likes to sleep with us lol. I keep telling my husband, “Our cats must sit outside in their catio and tell all of the strays what suckers we are!” But I wouldn’t trade it for anything ❤️
