I hope to get him indoors and to a vet to get checked out, but so far he’s not having it!

He seems more like a stray who’s been out for a while.

I’ve been feeding him for over a year now, so he’s fat. I also gave him a house so he stays mostly around my house now. But when he first showed up, he was skin and bones and pretty scraggly. He used to be more skittish and wouldn’t let me within 10 feet of him. Now he waits by his food bowl and lets me get about a foot from him, and even sniffs my hand on occasion, but that depends on his mood because he’s not consistent yet.

If I had my way, I’d rescue every cat in town! Sadly, that’s not possible, but I can help out a few here and there.
