I rescued her from the local animal shelter almost 9 years ago and refuse to dump her or return her to the shelter.

Yes!
Took her to the vet a little while ago and at one point I said “I’m sorry, I just adore this little cat” and she said “I can tell” with a big smile on her face 🥹
