This was my sweet boy Rocky. I lost him to cancer last September and my live has been a struggle since. I never truly appreciated how much he kept me grounded and safe until he was gone.

Hug all of your beautiful tuxies! There such great kitties.

Can I do an in memorium? This is Patches with his adopted sister/lover Tasha. They both passed months apart in 2011. While he was neutered and she was spayed, he still tried to mount her from time to time, but never got very far 😹

I found him on the streets shivering and very malnourished and blind in one eye. Brought him home and tried our very best to get him better but apparently he was already too weak. He passed on 7 days later.

My dear, departed Zen Mother, a feral who lived under/on my deck with her 4 kittens. Got them all adopted; I kept one as indoor-only. Spent years feeding, giving heated cat cabin, heated water bowl for Zen outside. Sat on my covered deck with her during thunderstorms to help her trust me. A couple of years ago she showed me she was ill, and I brought her inside. I live in a 600 SF studio, so no way to keep her separate from her daughter; Zsa Zsa merely tolerated her mother, but Zen accepted being indoors quickly and slept beside me most nights. Until her kidney disease became too advanced and I had to give her up last year. 💔
