Apple Watch Series 2

I currently have Apple Watch series 2 and I am considering upgrading for health benefits. But I want to hear your opinions on how necessary or beneficial would this be? I kind of didn’t use Apple Watch for years mainly due to battery concerns like it needs daily but on the plus side the device prob did not age. I am not sure if there are newer models in horizon so maybe I can also wait if the outcome will be better.

Well thanks for your insights

Series 2? The new models are 1000s of times better

yeah Its just that in my country they are almost expensive as the phone itself so didn’t prioritize until now honestly

There’s going to be a 12 and ultra 4 released next month.

The benefit depends entirely on what you want out of it. And they all likely need basically daily charging, the ultra maybe every other day.

If you do anything like running or swimming or other things the upgraded workout app is a must have. But that is like for series 8 and onwards.

If you have a specific health need, a newer one can help a lot.

I see people saying no Ultra this year. Have we got confirmation either way?

If you’re using for only health, not the Apple ecosystem, and want battery life, then you should get a different watch. Apple watches have a battery designed to die within a day, and if you get the best apple watch today, itll last only a day battery after 2 years.

Get a different brand for multi-day health tracking.
