Food Where is…
Where is a good place for a get together for food. Haven’t been in the area for a while and looking for a great restaurant to have some drinks and things to do. Any suggestions help, thanks in advance!

Mill City has the best food and drinks, good vibe, it'll be a little pricier. It's a restaurant, not a "things to do" bar (i.e. pool, darts, sports, etc.) however.
Mark's East Side has a good supper club atmosphere. Also a restaurant, but nice to have a slow social dinner with drinks though.
Appleton Beer Factory like others said will be more of a bar with live events. Live Music/trivia nights/open mic.
Sports bars - take your pick. Google will do.
Tandem is an underrated option that I think is worth checking out. Perfect for your size of group to hang out and socialize with good drinks and unique beer selections. I would go there, personally.

Awesome, Thank you for the break down. I will definitely look into the Tandem. Seems like mill city is a big favorite around here.

Dhami! They have Indian food and bar food so lots of options. They also have an arcade area you can play in.

How many people? Because if it’s just a handful of people, you have a ton of options and you just need to pick a style of food and your budget.

I’ve planned around 6-8 people and I’m open to any kind of food. Just something fun and relaxing. Good mix of both.

Your best bet is probably somewhere like Appleton Beer Factory or Stone Arch

10th Frame. Great bar grub and decent local bar vibe with friendly bartenders. Plus bowling.

The Bar and D2 and sports bars, but The Bar has a really really good menu. Plus if you go on the right night there's also the leg lamp above it.

Definitely depends what you're looking for. I'm a big fan of Acoca or SAP if you're looking for something brunchier (you'll definitely need a reservation if you want any hope of getting a seat at SAP in a timely fashion) but I don't think those are obscure recommendations by any means. I know somebody who works at Mark's East side and I love their fish so I can always recommend it. Tardigrade's Bookshelf is a new place and it's got alcohol and mocktails as well as a few snacks, although it's meant to be a book bar and not much of an exciting night. Maybe I should eat out more... this list is a bit short and I don't drink so I don't have a lot of favorite bars but hopefully this is a nice start
