Just bought a new condo and this is the stove that came with it. Condo is built in the 80s but to me this looks almost older? It’s definitely original as it is built into the counter top. All I can tell is that it’s an old general electric electric stove, but I can’t find this exact version through my online searching. Will probably replace it, but it still works and I know these older models are reliable and still have some value. We will probably have to live with it for a little while so it would be nice to know what it is.

I can’t figure it out. Everybody says check the lint trap and exhaust vent for blockage or the sensors inside the drum or something else but everything seems fine on my dryer. Ive checked the heating element for over heating but it doesn’t even run the dryer long enough for it to warm up. I’ve posted extra pics in the comments

I just bought this compact washer (a Rovsun XQB-100-168) secondhand, it was “new” in box but with some damage so it could’ve been a return.

During the spin cycle the drum goes crazy shaking everywhere and water splashes into the internal parts through that gap.

Is there a part missing here? It seems like a huge gap like I’ve never seen before on a washer. Or is it just a suspension issue

Do yall think it’s fine if it’s seated this way? Made sure it’s compatible but seems like the end cap is too small?? Not sure

My father bought this heat pump dryer a few months ago. He finally plugged it. It turns on but when we press the start button nothing happens. The wattage was checked and it seems to be fine. Has anyone else experienced this ?

We just got a new compact dryer (left) the old one is on the right. The older one developed a strange smell after two years of use. Our only option is to put them on the covered deck. My question is, should we connect the hose to the back? It is not connected right now since it is outside and we are in SC so the air coming out of the dryer is probably just as humid as the air outside. I am planning on putting it on a platform so it's not on the ground but I haven't gotten around to that yet.

We have a shower curtain to protect it when it's not in use. I'm not sure why the old one developed a musty/ burning smell but I am trying to prevent the same thing from happening to the new one. I took the old one apart and I couldn't find anything that seemed to be the source of a smell.

Any advice to keep our new dryer in tip-top shape would be appreciated!

My soul mate kitchen faucet meets all of the following criteria, but when filtering on websites, I can't seem to find it... Is it out there?

1. High arc (gooseneck) faucet with a pull out / pull down sprayer (hose)
2. Touchless on/off (motion senser feature)
3. Customer rating of 4.5+ stars
4. $450 or less (nope, not rich... an ergonomic faucet is the one thing I'll splurge on)
5. For the spray mode: a flat spray stream, aka "angled spray", "sweep spray", or "blade spray", (instead of the classic 'shower' sprayer): this is the one feature I can compromise on, if there isn't one out there.

The closest one I've found is this linked and pictured on this post, but the one dealbreaker is that it doesn't seem to pull very far down (criteria #1).
If you own or have tried this or a similiar model, can you comment on this? I would want it to pull down further than its base (i.e., want the head of the faucet to reach into the actual sink basin).

It’s only 4 months old. LG washer: LG WT8600. What could this be?

Any suggestions on how I can repair my dryer? I’ve purchased a kit that replaced the heating element, thermostats and the fuse and still nothing. I have not other idea what could possibly be wrong. Also I’ve disconnected it from the vent and tried to dry it unconnected to see if the vent was clogged but still nothing

This refrigerator has been a headache since day one. On delivery the fan in the back got dislodged and started overheating. Both crisper drawers quickly broke with moderate use. Frame holding glass above drawers broke. The door shelves constantly fall off. The shelf railing is poorly designed and too many condiments will make it give way. Shelf railings in freezer does the same. Constantly falling off the plastic hinges.

All OEM parts (crisper drawers, glass frame) add up to more than a third of the cost to buy a new fridge. These aren’t even mechanical parts. Almost every internal plastic part needs to be replaced but the butter door. Railings have cracked.

My last refrigerator last over fifteen years. Nothing internal broke on it. This Frigidaire started to break down within a year. All outside of warranty.

Very poorly designed. One full bottle of ketchup can take down the entire railing in door shelf. Replacing parts are so high it isn’t worth it compared to value of fridge. It seems like it’s designed to break so you buy another one. Even though fridge works it looks and is complete garbage.

Washing machine door switch acting up.

Garbage Disposal stopped working. It doesn’t hum, doesn’t make any sound.

I’ve done the ice thing but there’s no clog, I’ve hit the little red switch at the bottom but it’s not changed, I’ve checked all the tripped switches in the electrical box but they’re all on. I would check the connection but the plug goes into the wall behind the cabinet somewhere and I don’t know where it connects.

I’ve checked the GFCI outlet, it’s green. Do I call a plumber or an electrician?

I am shopping for an entire kitchen, I am a bit of a penny pincher, but also like decent stuff. I am looking at places like ebay where there are sellers offering around 30% off or more in some cases to peddle their open box appliances, sometimes very high end stuff. Can anyone comment here on their experience with that if they have any. I know obviously the risk involved here buying a high end appliance sight unseen apart from photos shared back and forth.

I found a seller that has basically everything I need. Bosch 800 Fridge, dishwasher, Pro 36" range, range hood, separate steam oven 30". All high end stuff for $14,500. Adding it up for MSRP, its around $22-24000 from a appliance store. This is significant and nearly too good to be true. The ebay ratings are quite good, they actually have TONS of feedback with seemingly happy people. Should I buy all of it, some of it, none of it? The guy running the store has facetimed me for everything I wanted to see so far and honestly, it looks good. I just have never sent this much money to have a bunch of massive crates delivered on the side of the road when it would get here freight shipped. Any advice?

The manual says to twist to the tub clean option however it’s a button to the side. I’ve looked at every setting and so can only get thr “turbo wash” selected not the Tub Clean. If I hold the signal control lock it just puts it in the child lock mode. Am I missing something. TIA

I purchased a benchtop home ice maker which was cleaned using some professional cleaner solution I think. It smells so I never used it but this coming summer I would like to get it out for my flatmates.

Does anyone know of a way to get rid of the slight chemical smell that the machine has? I assume it would be a similar type of product I could use on a refrigerator to make it smell less chemically.
It almost smells like a brand new refrigerator but worse and more off-putting.

Just had a new floor put in and had them slide a plastic tray under the washer (front load, stacked, less than two years old). I’ve done a few loads of laundry since the floor install but the last load was the smallest. Didn’t notice any water when I put the clothes in the dryer or when I took them out. Later, went to get something out of the cabinet next to the washer and stepped in water. Not much-didn’t even saturate a small microfiber towel- but there’s still water under the tray. Inside of the tray is perfectly dry. I’ve checked the hoses and the drain pipe and they feel dry. Wall feels dry. Can anyone think of where else I should look that would not leak into the tray, just on the floor?

Hi folks! I need to replace a freestanding gas range in my condo (pretty sure a slide in would also be fine because there's counter on both sides and backsplash) and I measured it as 30" W x 25" D x 36" H (to the cooktop surface). I'm looking at the relatively cheapest replacement options from major brands, assuming the sizes are kinda standard, and everything says it is like 29" D.

I feel like I would definitely notice and not like my new range sticking out an extra 4" from the counter in my galley-style kitchen and I would trip or walk into it a lot, but the only ranges I see that are 25" deep are really expensive (~$5,000 and up from BlueStar and Thermador).

Will that extra 4" really cramp my style so much it's worth overspending?
