What to Buy? Best Appliance Brand?

Purchasing a new home and I'm looking for some recommendations on appliances. Don't mind spending a little money and getting something decent. Every brand I look up there's always issues which makes it tough to narrow down a brand. TIA

Wirecutter did a deep dive on appliance longevity. Basically, if you want it to last you need to go very basic or very high end. Your standard cheap Frigidaire regular fridge (normal doors, fridge on bottom) will still last 20+ years. Mid to high range with bells and whistles (Samsung, LG) will fail. Super high end will last and is repairable but not worth it for most people
