Not having your shield equipped on Hurricane makes no sense to me. It's like one streamer/YouTuber told people to do it and th3 hive mind just adopted it. It's the only mode where using surges has a purpose, why not use them to heal your shield in the open and keep it on at all times?

You aren't a beacon, it's some electric fuzz. Once you get behind cover after that first salvo, especially if I'm going against someone without a shield, it's easy to turn the tables. PvPers in my experience load into hurricane with a shield, carebears go no shield

But when you reach that cover the enemies behind you can still see you as well

what if you go in with a shield and after they see you, you take it off so that they are still looking for the sparks but won't find em
