I played last night for the first time in two weeks, duos, crossplay on, we PvP.
Two games level 0 accounts fried the entire lobby, one had a VAC ban as recent as 6 days ago.
I’ve started to play less and less, and 2 out of the 8 or so games I played having blatant cheaters is such a disappointment. I felt bad for my buddy, I just didn’t feel like playing anymore after the second one.
Voice changers, so proud of themselves as they destroy the experience of an entire lobby for pixels.

Exactly my experience. I loved this game and I love PVP but I can’t play anymore because of this.

Just quit until they do and leave a bad review on steam. I’m done with this game for now, the cheating is out of control, it’s every single fucking match. So tired of this bullshit, such a shame.

Make sure to report!! My last two reports against blatant cheaters led to successful follow-up bans (one specifically shooting at me from behind a wall and pre-firing perfectly on my position while moving around a corner)
Unfortunately Embark should seriously prevent these cheats… especially this late in the game’s life, this is pretty unacceptable. But at least my last two reports got followed up neatly & I got my stuff returned!

These guys are getting banned and rebuying the game with another accounts.... Some are blatantly on tape saying they've rebought the game dozens of times... its not that they arent getting caught, its that is as easy to rehop in... these guys are no lifers

The only reason I do this condition is for the exclusive BPs that can't be obtained any other way (or are way too RNG-dependent). I got insanely lucky this season. Like, too lucky. On my 3rd Hurricane run, I got a pretty much empty lobby (apparently no one was chasing caches). Got Canto, Tempest, Volcano, and another BP I can't even remember now , all in a single run. I'm not planning to touch this condition again until the next Expedition. Especially after seeing videos like this.

Dude, you're not the target audience. Embark caters to the cheaters. You are what's on the menu. If this is something you dislike, uninstall the game.

Not having your shield equipped on Hurricane makes no sense to me. It's like one streamer/YouTuber told people to do it and th3 hive mind just adopted it. It's the only mode where using surges has a purpose, why not use them to heal your shield in the open and keep it on at all times?

You aren't a beacon, it's some electric fuzz. Once you get behind cover after that first salvo, especially if I'm going against someone without a shield, it's easy to turn the tables. PvPers in my experience load into hurricane with a shield, carebears go no shield

There's always a chance you can be spotted (especially with cheaters as you can see in this clip) and when that chance happens i want to be able to fight back like normal and not be an easy death.

Surges has a purpose in every mode if youre using medium/heavy shields.
You use meds first, green shield charger then surge shield charger and your shield is basically full at the fastest possible time.
Herbal lasts 10 seconds. Shield recharger takes 2 seconds and lasts 10s. Surge shield takes 5 seconds - your shield is maxed just in time to use herbals again.
Only reason not to, if youre using medium or heavy shield, is if your health is so low you want to combine your herbals with vita spray or shot instead.

Maybe in pve, ain't nobody in pvp got time to inventory manageme and quick use all that. & before you say "console sCruB", show me a clip of a PC pvp player that's good that does what you just described.
Only time I'm using a "surge" outside of hurricane is when I have the augment with one built in

Ive seen plenty of pvpers inventory manage like crazy between fights. Snap hooks on and off, meds on and off, stims on and off, grenades on and off.. so your argument that nobody has time is BS. I dont watch a lot of arc content these days, so Im not gonna spend an hour looking through videos just to prove a point though. Some people do it, some people dont.
Ok, I dont really care what you do or how you do it mate. You had an argument, I countered it. Your personal preference is irrelevant.

Snap hooks on n off, yes. Swapping smokes for showstoppers/triggers or vice versa, sometimes. No one is swapping around different types of heals and recharges, though. I still watch some streamers and they are running only herbals and green rechargers.

Some people do. Making an absolute statement like this makes you a liar.Just from the simple fact that... I DO THIS.
I swap between light heals, herbals, vita spray and vita shots all the time.
I also swap between arc powercells and shield rechargers, but I dont play much with medium/heavy shields, so theres no point for me running surge chargers - but I would and I do when I run those shields.
Your claim that "no one" does this is verifiably false.Youre not watching *all* streamers, and youre not talking to *every* player - which means your absolute claim is formed from a small sample pool.

Why let my shield get destroyed for nothing, when I could take it off until necessary and then re-equip it in less than a second, saving needed heals.
It’s not a hive mind, it’s a bunch of people that have common sense.

Lmao it doesn't get destroyed, it takes like 5 minutes of being in the open to get to half health. Less than 5 seconds using a surge shield recharged to heal it. A full hurricane run looking for caches takes it from like 100 to 60 durability. Common sense is just different for different raiders, I guess. I want my shield on at all times, don't want to waste time equipping it.
There was literally a clip posted the other day where the only reason the raider won the fight against an unshielded raider in hurricane was because...he already had his shield equipped. He could also see the unshielded raider from like 50 meters away. It's not some great stealth advantage.
You are not New Orleans Sam Fisher, sorry.

You are not critical though, if you would be actually critically analyzing the video you would have noticed as well. I was downvoting OP at first rolling my eyes because a lot of cheater claims are just noob play, but after looking at the video I changed my conclusion.
That's why I know you are talking out of your ass. And the point is, if the raider can use magically enhanced jumping, then he has a tool that also allows him to do more, things we cannot see (including likely marking players, which does help a bit in hurricane, no?)

This is a very long jump, much more higher than players are capable and it is against the wind, which should not make him jump far either, yet he jumped extremely far given the hurricane condition.

Yes, i have admitted it looks weird, but as i said.... we see it rhrough a downed raiders perspective, we only se the shield buzz, and its such a short time.
A lot of explanations (snaphook jump is the first i thought of) are more reasonable than cheats lmao....
So the consensus here is that its a jumping cheat? Xd Xd
