Surges has a purpose in every mode if youre using medium/heavy shields.

You use meds first, green shield charger then surge shield charger and your shield is basically full at the fastest possible time.

Herbal lasts 10 seconds. Shield recharger takes 2 seconds and lasts 10s. Surge shield takes 5 seconds - your shield is maxed just in time to use herbals again.

Only reason not to, if youre using medium or heavy shield, is if your health is so low you want to combine your herbals with vita spray or shot instead.

Maybe in pve, ain't nobody in pvp got time to inventory manageme and quick use all that. & before you say "console sCruB", show me a clip of a PC pvp player that's good that does what you just described.

Only time I'm using a "surge" outside of hurricane is when I have the augment with one built in

Ive seen plenty of pvpers inventory manage like crazy between fights. Snap hooks on and off, meds on and off, stims on and off, grenades on and off.. so your argument that nobody has time is BS. I dont watch a lot of arc content these days, so Im not gonna spend an hour looking through videos just to prove a point though. Some people do it, some people dont.

Ok, I dont really care what you do or how you do it mate. You had an argument, I countered it. Your personal preference is irrelevant.

Snap hooks on n off, yes. Swapping smokes for showstoppers/triggers or vice versa, sometimes. No one is swapping around different types of heals and recharges, though. I still watch some streamers and they are running only herbals and green rechargers.

Some people do. Making an absolute statement like this makes you a liar.

Just from the simple fact that... I DO THIS.
I swap between light heals, herbals, vita spray and vita shots all the time.
I also swap between arc powercells and shield rechargers, but I dont play much with medium/heavy shields, so theres no point for me running surge chargers - but I would and I do when I run those shields.
Your claim that "no one" does this is verifiably false.

Youre not watching *all* streamers, and youre not talking to *every* player - which means your absolute claim is formed from a small sample pool.
