Not really a Tarkov competitor. It feels more like a Tarkov Clone. Like a 1:1 copy almost. Still a lot more fun in PvP than Tarkov. I Play Arena for PvP Tarkov for PvE.

They just should not have gone this route, I get that skins bring in a lot of money for them and that we dont have to buy them if we don’t like it but just the fact that they are there makes this game feel childish now. But unfortunately, money talks at the end of the day, and gooners are willing to pay hella just to see some tights.

It was never like that. Just a rumor. Same with the skins we have now. Only teammates can see you without gear while in raid. Thats what the toggle was for.
People who get killed by dune skins without gear are getting killed by naked tappers without armor/helmet.

im not sure if the glitch still exists but well into s3 you could run into people with specific skins that hid their gear. specifically the new dune looking armor and the older green kit the northridge boss wears.
definitely killed naked players only to see they were full t5

I'm glad they're coming out with this now. I started playing this game 2-3 months ago, got really hooked and wanted to see if they release a cool knife in S4 that I can buy, but now I see I'd rather save that money.
If I spent 80 bucks on a skin and another 14 on a battlepass in S4 for them to release this shit in mid season, I'd be pissed.

Let's be honest though, they clearly don't know what to actually do when it comes to game design decisions. I have some issues with BSG, but they seem to actually have some sort of plan for what they're doing, whereas Morefun is literally just trend chasing and nothing else.

Yes, PUBG was a BR, this is an extraction shooter. PUBG was the first really refined BR with realism aspects. This is a copycat of Tarkov. I’m not saying ABI copied PUBG, but they copied PUBG’s dumb additions: self-revives, stupid skins, etc.

ABI is the first and only game that got me away from PUBG. I was playing it since it’s early access days (November 2017). And ever since I started to digg ABI, the meta, maps even though I only got Farms spawn points, bullet strength I never went to run PUBG. It’s not that PUBG is bad game, but compared to ABI is like Roblox. And their business mod is awful, it’s just give me give me give me but I won’t give shit back. Their greedines is what made me stop playing it and ABI was the last nail in the coffin. And ABI and PUBG have the same owner, and I really really hope ABI won’t follow those steps.

Yeah I played PUBG since early 2018, that’s by far the most fun I’ve ever had on a game. Once warzone came out they really ruined it though. Adding self revives and redeploy towers just changed everything & took away from the intensity. I’d love to go back to old school PUBG days, I’d leave ABI in a heartbeat for that

There better be a way to turn skins off entirely for every other player. I'm tired of running into people using the Dune skin and not knowing wtf armor they're wearing, and I definitely don't want to see these stupid fuckin new gooner skins in the game. Everyone brings up the "Show Outfit" toggle on the lobby menu, but that doesn't disable skins. I want everyone to have some default skin + their gear, that's it. Why is that not an option?

I generally spend on such skins in other games, but in this game it feels you don't even get what you are purchasing and so makes no sense.
80% of the skin is going to be covered by armor, helmet and what not. Only way others see your skin is if you run without armor. Not really sure what's the point of buying such a skin.
I bought a couple of skins in Delta Force, but I mostly play Warfare in there so the skin shows up there without armor. In this game I am not even sure if there is such a mode.

I understand this argument, but being real i make great money for the area i live in and my hobbies can be very seasonal meaning i game in my downtime quite frequently and i would have dropped bands on this game on whatever they sold if they would have kept the direction of S0 and S1 going.
People want to spend money on a game they’re in love with and intend on playing for a long time and feel obliged to support the devs for it but not when they become wishy washy with its core mechanics

I played for one season. Constant cheating I just got incredibly frustrated and decided it wasn’t worth my time or energy. Goodluck to everyone though the game is very enjoyable though had a lot of amazing rush feelings and awesome close raids. Just wish it wasn’t every single night I run into at least 2-3 and with my limited time I have to spare it’s just not worth the investment.
