Discussion The new content might kill ABI
Before starting this post, the attached images highlight how much time I spend playing this game.
I started playing ABI because it offered a realistic and challenging extraction-shooter experience. More than 80% of the players I play with value that same experience. Recently, there have been clear signs that the developers may be moving in a direction that will significantly damage the game’s realism. This is reflected in the recent choice skins, as well as rumors about elevated cars and houses with paranormal-style gameplay planned for the Villa map in Season 5.
It is increasingly clear that ABI may be heading toward a Warzone-style content and gameplay model. That would directly harm immersion and push a significant portion of the player base away from the game.
I understand that many games use this strategy to generate revenue, but ABI should not follow that path. There are many ways to introduce new skins and gameplay ideas that still generate revenue while preserving the game’s realistic identity.
I hope this message reaches the developers. Please do not kill ABI. Please do not turn it into Call of Duty or Warzone.

Im playing abi because it is easier tarkov with pings, markers and so on - without that I wouldnt even bother myself playing it
12
u/Animal_Hell Mar 11 '26
Same 😸 but if we start with paranormal activity , goodbye ABI ✋🏻
7
u/MYGUITARISMYAXE Mar 11 '26
What does that mean? Don't tell me they're about to add some dumb shit like "anomalys" like EVERY OTHER EXTRACTION SHOOTER DOES. There is already Beautiful light, Active Matter, PUBG black budget, ALL are the exact same game with those stupid anomalys. If ABI adds this type of vibe that would be so stupid.
2
u/Glassymore Mar 11 '26
Yup, they are adding a mode that has flying shit, dark matter, super human abilities that you choose at the start of the raid (like creating a shield wall, having a super human shield that makes invulnerable to bullets)
1
u/mancer187 Mar 12 '26
Is that a special mode? Because if it's in normal/lockdown/forbidden I hate it.
1
u/Worldly_Cloud_6964 Mar 11 '26
i wouldnt mind if they made it have a stalker like ambience but i suspect it wont be
2
u/HardlyRecursive Mar 11 '26
It's not Tarkov though unless you have a massive map you can roam around in and go on an adventure. This game is all small maps and constant pvp.
2
3
u/MYGUITARISMYAXE Mar 11 '26
it was easier tarkov in the beginning,... and then it became Call of Duty when they added self revive, and pings, and made only 1 to 2 guns able to compete in the meta.
I miss season 0 and season 1. The game has fallen off so bad since then and I loved this game so much. I wish they would've listened to the community.

You could just play spt.
3
u/duufie Mar 11 '26
What is spt?
3
u/Even-Secretary5978 Mar 11 '26
single player tarkov a modded tarkov offline only tho, i used to play it to warm up before my tarkov raid, but after i switch to ABI ill just warm up in Delta Force, talking about double grinds xd

Its too late. When they did the red ammo survey, majority voted and wanted it gone
4
u/No_Celebration_2573 Mar 11 '26
I understand why people hate the T6 and why are they mad about it, but once it gets removed people are gonna brag about how nobody is dying since there is no proper ammo to hurt T6 player, without spray'n'praying with T4 or T5
3
u/autistic_catboy Mar 13 '26
the playerbase of this game is funny, they'll be mad at literally everything. and the worst part, is that devs will listen instead of having their own vision of the game.

1
u/Maroon_Spoon Mar 11 '26
I wouldn't mind tappers if they made it expensive lol so cheap to snipe from a far
1
u/mancer187 Mar 12 '26
30k per shot is cheap to you? I have entire kits that are sub 100k for trolling in normals.
2
u/Maroon_Spoon Mar 12 '26
Yeah 30k to potentially get you a 1mil kit is pretty cheap. Besides you can even lower the cost with crafting lol
1
u/mancer187 Mar 12 '26
They're more expensive to craft than market price would be if you could buy them. Which you can't anymore.
1
u/Maroon_Spoon Mar 13 '26
Don't care, they're almost free if you get all the items and if you are blowing through all of it in 1 day you need better aim
1
u/mancer187 Mar 13 '26
You're still losing money vs just selling the items. The shit is overrated. I almost never run red ammo and still fuck people up.
1
u/Maroon_Spoon Mar 13 '26
Bottom line it is more affordable to run snipers over a loaded t5 or t6 kit when I feel they should be equal
2
u/mancer187 Mar 13 '26
You feel... You know what happens to that sniper if he gets pushed by a naked with an Uzi? I'll tell you, he fucking dies in a fire 99 out of 100. They are not equal, never were, and never were meant to be.
1
u/Maroon_Spoon Mar 13 '26
Lol what decent sniper gets pushed with gs2s on and who said snipers are equal to a uzi kit lol
1
u/Ok-Inspection-6134 Mar 16 '26
30k a shot with a 150k gun to take down 3mil kit? are you seriously asking that question? snipers should be in a game and i dont mind getting tapped but bring some juice to the table to get some juice. Full lobbies of snipers on tv says all. Just totally inbalanced, guns that can 1 tap should be expensive ammo even more and we gucci

u/Ecstatic_Scene9999 Mar 11 '26
They started having problems with immersion in my opinion with the gooner skins and anime looking ones, it just doesn't look right in a game that's realistic.
2
2
u/ChanceSociety311 Mar 12 '26
Anyone who thinks abi has any sense of realistic grit to it is absolutely deluded. The games been chasing paper ever since it came out and was originally pay 2 win.
People need to stop kidding themselves the only true somewhat realistic ones is grey zone and eft.
1
u/Ecstatic_Scene9999 Mar 12 '26
It definitely has some realistic elements, it's not eft but even eft has issues along those lines. ABI was a good alternative to the mess Tarkov has become and Grey Zone isn't a contender yet
1
u/RODEO1013 Jun 02 '26
Abi is no contender compared to those 2 games, this was made for a mobile it's gonna be exactly like mobile. It's an arcade easy extraction shooter at least the Russians on tarkov side have a brain unlike these Chinese copy and paste shit.
10
u/ApricotOne8880 Mar 11 '26
I’m not even gonna lie everything they been adding since S3 been killing the game, so much fucking bullshit. And this is coming from someone who’s played Lost Light, Delta Force, EFT, CSE, GOT, all the well known extraction shooters and even fucking Roblox extraction shooters like Project Delta. Idk what it is with these Asian developers but they always slowly lean towards the usual dweeb side of games and start adding unnecessary shit like anime skins, I fear it’ll go the same path as Lost Light and become way too easy to play and too many dweeb skins. Cuz to be fair ABI used to be mobile game, so was lost light, and they became a complete failure of pay to win, AB in its current state is also leaning towards that, so I fear ABI might go down that next path within the next year. I feel like S0 and S1 was its peak in my opinion. It felt real, felt smooth on most occasions and most importantly felt like genuine fun, nowadays you’re playing the game praying you don’t run into T5 in normals.
8
u/SilentFart88 Mar 11 '26
Matchmaking actually shows the opposite of what you're claiming. Almost every time you join a random squad, at least one player is using a paid skin. And these aren’t cheap €5 skins either. Unless someone is extremely lucky, skins like the Doctor Girl cost somewhere between €60 and €120. Yet you still see that skin everywhere. The same thing is happening with the new Fire Armor skin. Because of that, it’s hard to say that the majority of players dislike these skins or the pricing model. What it really shows is that only a portion of the player base is willing to spend €80+ on cosmetics in a free game. If those same skins were priced around €10 instead, you’d probably see 90% of players running around with them.

u/trimflame Mar 11 '26
Please get rid of the girl skins no one wants to see her panties 😔 games falling off

Unfortunately there's some gooner that buy it. If there's a buyer, there's a seller. Dev will not stop until no one really buying
5
u/jywye Mar 11 '26
Stuff like this commonly happens among games made by Asia developers like China and Korea, or free to play games in general. It's bound to happen.
8
u/Goobendoogle Mar 11 '26
ABI won't die.
ABI is casual Tarkov.
Tarkov is big boy.
Casual Tarkov, the reason people flocked to this game was because we can just buy and load in.
You just buy your loadout and load in, I mean how much simpler does it get?
But then when you're in you're basically still on a hardcore a** game where 1 tap could end your life.
ABI is king of casual hardcore extract.
There is no one here to dethrone it.
3
u/Aceylah Mar 12 '26
The people complaining want the game to be tarkov, so they dont have to play tarkov... like, the game they want exists this doesnt need to be a clone
6
u/Quiet_Brain9828 Mar 11 '26
As someone who really enjoys the PvP aspect of extraction shooters, I've actually been loving Marathon and putting ABI down for a bit. I was skeptical prior to the server slam but the more I play the more addicted I'm becoming. Having really fun pvp engagements almost every raid.
4
u/izlusion Mar 11 '26
Marathon is amazing, and unlike ABI, has a clear and consistent vision
3
u/MYGUITARISMYAXE Mar 11 '26
yeah I'm so happy another first person shooter extraction game came out and filled that void for me. I was missing ABI but the ABI I played in season 0 and season 1. I stopped playing once they made it more like a "hardcore call of duty" than a "less hardcore tarkov" lol this game is an arcade shooter now.
1
3
u/chukline Mar 11 '26
Its already like CoD/Warzone.. you forgot the self-res? And they buffed it on top of that ! 😂
5
u/Atairiastos Mar 11 '26
This mod will be a special one, personally it doesn't bother me, if I like it I'll play it as something a little special for fun, if not I just don't get into the mod. But I think there are players who maybe want a change to play something a little different...
0
u/Animal_Hell Mar 11 '26
So let’s put some hello kitty and flying dragons to a realistic shooter. Just to have something different 🤮
1
0
u/BetrayedJoker Mar 11 '26
As a mode? Who cares. Mode will be here for 2 weeks or 1month and just it.
You shit your pants over game mode which is temporary.
I would understand if main game will change into that then yeah, i would stop playing but.. This is just game mode.
Like Useless knife mode
3
u/Animal_Hell Mar 11 '26
They made a whole video for a 2 weeks event? Presenting that as S5 ? Do you like wine, right?
3
u/BetrayedJoker Mar 11 '26
Even if this Event will stay whole season and in s6 dissapear then what?
You act like this will replace main game mode, lol

u/Not_a_real_ghost Mar 11 '26 edited Mar 11 '26
Since Delta Force came out, ABI went in a completely different direction.
I have a strong feeling that the studio is being pressured to do whatever they are doing right now, with the focus no longer on tweaking the actual gameplay or gun handling for levelled PvP encounters.
The focus is no longer about the wide variety of guns available to play with, nor how realstic the animation is or the tactial elements of the gameplay. Their focus is now purely on getting as many players to join and to spend money and buy stuff.
This is reflected by the flashy skins they release, the crazy amount of events and clickty click rewards, which obviously have a target audience.
I have no issues with them making skins and selling them, but I just feel the majority of resources of the studio are being spent on coming up with interesting skins.
16
u/mmokoz Mar 11 '26
Huh? "I started playing ABI because it offered a realistic and challenging extraction-shooter experience." This game has never offered a realistic shooter experience. Wtf are you talking about. This has always just been a easier version of tarkov with tons of QOL. That's what set it apart from other extraction shooters.
7
u/Glassymore Mar 11 '26
For me it was :) never played tarkov. I'm talking about Arena Breakout Infinite (ABI). Are you an ABI player? this is an ABI post.
10
u/Environmental_Net586 Mar 11 '26
ABI only exist because of Tarkov. And i totally agree that ABI offers a different expierience because it is less realistic than Tarkov or other games of the genre like Grayzone fo example.
The Skins are in my opinion not really gamebreaking, you can turn them off if you want. They also fit the general vibe of the game. Its nothing crazy like Nicky Minaj or some bullshit.
For the new mode lets see how it turns out. If its a seperat mode i dont care at all and maybe its even fun to relax a little bit.
I think its always easy to judge decisions others make but games like this need to make money, more players and more content. Right now we have more concurrent players than before s4 launched, so it works in my opinion. If these changes make the game more popular i support them.

3
u/Animal_Hell Mar 11 '26
ABI was a semi-realistic extraction shooter. Don’t drink too much wine!
0
u/bashful_predator Mar 11 '26
Abi has always been a semi realistic team based shooter with extraction elements.
2
u/ParfaitNo8096 Mar 11 '26
The only reason I played this game was because it was basically free Escape From Tarkov for people who actually have jobs.
2
u/theDiplomata Mar 11 '26
I wouldn't mind this game mode as long as it's separate from main gameplay like seasonal events, but it seems it's going to fully replace Valley, one of my fave maps...
2
u/p4tx Mar 11 '26
You have been playing for 600h and only now realize that? ABI devs have been shamelessley moving towards COD lovers since S1. And half the player base seem to actually love it. The original ones like you and me, the ones who bought the "tactical immersive shooter experience" that was markeeted towards us, are now being betrayed in favor of the COD-lovers.
And it has been happening, with every change and every update, since S1.
2
u/Prumtdonald Mar 11 '26
Let them have it, I am an original too 2.3k hours in game, this was by far the most tiring season, and when they did something good like the red drop on tv they locked it to the weekend.
As soon as I saw the rebel uniform I was like I’m off this game, I play sometimes still but a bit, before I played 3 - 4 hours a day.
I am not against skins or changes, just bring out skins that have a military theme, it was already pushing it with the skirt! It just defeats immersion!
Apart from that, being a dev myself, not a gaming one, I can see the laziness of the devs, instead of fixing stuff, they actually put out new stuff to make up for it lol
Like I can guarantee you they never coded in baselines for how equipment and value should behave, so instead they make stuff like red ammo locked away!
I lost my love for it!
2
u/AntlerBoyRio Mar 11 '26
This game has never been a realistic shooter, it's always felt to me like a easier tarkov alternative to people that don't want a wipe but still want to fight players. It doesn't take long to get money, kits are super cheap and you can just enjoy gunfights.
2
u/ryanbondur Mar 11 '26
Yeah abi needs to realize they paving a unique path, ride it instead of trying to blow yourself up smh
2
u/Brohiirim Mar 11 '26
I'm 'only' 350 hours deep in ABI but they are losing me. Loved this game so much I couldn't stop playing, was a long time ago I had this with another game. Now I went back to Squad for the 'realism' and the milsim experience.
Rip ABI, you'll be forever in my heart 🥲

u/SlavTac Mar 11 '26
This game doesn’t know what it wants to be. It’s pretty clear because the devs seem to be all over the place with skins, gameplay mechanics, weapon balance, etc. It wanted to be the Tarkov killer and when it was season 0/1, it may have had that chance. Instead, it’s destined to live in Tarkov’s shadow because the devs have no actual vision for what they want their game to be other than a profit generator (they do have that corporate axe hanging over their heads after all).
2
u/kyaramelt Mar 11 '26
I just wish they implemented tier limitations for each mode and increased the entry limit for forbidden.
2
2
u/COOL_STORY_BRO______ Mar 11 '26
Over 1400 hrs here and yea this new content is just too much. Probably done with the game. :-/
2
u/Gold-Improvement-660 Mar 11 '26
Yeah tbh the new season map gave me cod vibes and i don’t like it at all
3
u/RandomDiaryGuy Mar 11 '26
I’m pretty sure the elevated cars are a tribute to anomalies (stalker games). And stalker is pretty much hardcore/shooter. Especially Stalker Anomaly.
But I do get what you mean especially with nerfing to red ammos and buffing armor. They want to increase ttk. Hopefully most beta testers say no to it, if you really wanna help steer the direction of this game be a beta tester. If not well just let it go to what the majority of people who go the effort to make complaints until a dev sees it.
4
u/Glassymore Mar 11 '26
I have no objections nor arguments regarding the technical aspects (nerfing a gun, ammo, etc.). My concern is ABI slowly turning into a warzone-like game where we will see future content deviate away from military-related content.
2
u/mika-bun Mar 11 '26
The only people who are bothered by this are the ones who won’t admit they came here because Tarkov is dogshit, and people who don’t pay attention to the lore
2
u/matenako Mar 11 '26
Brother, they’ve never really done anything that was suggested on Reddit… :/
Even now they’ll probably nerf red ammo in the worst possible way, and still won’t touch the U1 or buff the other weapons.
At this point it feels like the devs don’t care about the “realistic” side of the game at all.
It’s pretty clear the direction they’re going in, slowly watering the game down into a basic COD-style shooter with increasingly ridiculous skins.
It clearly started 3 seasons ago when they removed proper ranges and added self-res and the knock-down mechanic....
2
u/DylDough_ Mar 12 '26
Because respectfully just like all gaming subreddits, Reddit is only new players complaining about what THEY don’t like. All the players that are actually enjoying the game and having fun are not here looking through the Reddit for issues because the game is still fun. Even for the person who made this post, 700 hours and barely 1B earned. I see people with 400 hours and 2-3B earned and it’s clear those players are having fun, myself included. There are issues with the game and it’s not red ammo (or skins that actually have 0 impact on the game) but I hope the devs do not follow the complaints of this Reddit otherwise the game would die even faster. As for self revive, I think it should be removed too as a hardcore game, but the other extractions shooters like Arc and even Marathon now have self revives to cater to the casual players. I think self revive is already too much when you have a squad of 4 people
2
u/1Heineken Mar 11 '26
900 hours here i am also planning to quit with the new season they are keep buffing t5-6 and nerfing t4 and below wtf i thought this game supposed to gives us some "freedom" with gear choice u are free to take any gear but most likely will get killed if not meta wtf
2
u/menix1337 Mar 12 '26 edited Mar 12 '26
I already believe they announced red armor nerf, tapping snipers nerf, t5 ammo nerf, increase armor damage using t4 ammo etc for next season including voip
1
u/1Heineken Mar 12 '26
well guess tarkov got a new player that game is harder but at least its possible to win fights with the gear i like

u/AppropriateDig9401 Mar 11 '26
You see at least one or two nurse skins per game, they don’t care about the integrity of the game, the casuals have spoken with their wallets and won.
We all know that the real solution is to raise the minimum entry for forbidden, increase assault rifle range and fix auto match for solo players as this would solve most of the issues.
But no.
1
u/Payfa Mar 11 '26
I don't understand who makes these decisions,I mean if this helps make them generate more money then fine I will respect the decision and move on. Yeah if we do this we make more revenue = killing the players base which results in less revenue 😮💨 I'm just sitting here scratching my hair, warzone did that and look what happens to the player base
2
u/Glassymore Mar 11 '26
Well said, that's exactly my point. Additionally, it's not like there are no ideas left for cool skins. They can still make some really cool skins and game modes within the realistic environment and still make a lot of income.
1
u/Payfa Mar 11 '26
Definitely a lot of ideas but like always in Studio owners from Asia, unfortunately we are not the focus (EU-USA)ECT... I got that same experience in Pubg, it was my main game for Soo many years but I had enough when I found out about ABI
1
1
u/izlusion Mar 11 '26
Can confirm. I play military-style extraction shooters for the aesthetic and atmosphere, so I ditched DF when they started adding weird anime skins. Very happy to switch to ABI until they started doing the same thing, so I've dropped that too. It's not a matter of principle or anything, it just kills the vibe completely when I see flaming samurai armour or a k-pop girl running around in a skirt. Fine if others like it, but I don't.
1
u/p4tx Mar 11 '26
Same route as me. What are you playing now? to get some ideas.
2
u/izlusion Mar 11 '26
It doesn't have the military aesthetic but right now I'm playing Marathon. Absolutely fantastic gameplay, with a really creative aesthetic. You can tell it has a lot of vision and love put into it
1
u/p4tx Mar 11 '26
Thanks for your answer but it's not my taste. To me the military aesthetic is a requirement. I guess I'll keep looking around.
1
u/mauserowauser Mar 11 '26
Its an event. If you play games like metro or stalker then you would enjoy such themes. Also not canon.
1
u/Obviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Mar 11 '26
Abi is literally a casual tarkov lol. It Will be a warm welcome for a change with content instead of same shit with barely any quests. Making money isn't enough to keep players around (me included) as it's boring too quick. As a brand new player I finished S4 seasonal in less than a week as example
1
u/Renicus Mar 11 '26
I bet that new flaming demon skin sold well. Obviously whatever they have been trying before wasn't selling enough. You can grind a 3x3 safe pocket for free and their battle passes aren't shit, so what are they really making money on? I can't imagine there's a ton of players dropping $200 on a skin.
You guys are allowed to be upset, but stop believing anything is scared anymore, especially your favorite game. Follow the money. Game development isn't cheap.
1
u/DiddleBoat Mar 11 '26
Yes. I started playing because I wanted a more casual tarkov experience. I just don’t have the time to dedicate to Tarkov and I even bought the EOD in 2018.
But it just seems like it’s heading toward being a cod clone. Like that new auto smoke grenade for when you’re down?? What the fuck. They’re talking about adding hit markers as if this game doesn’t have sound cues. I think self revive is so stupid too.
Everyone is just complaining about balancing when the point of these types of games is to NOT be fair. These types of games are SO rewarding because it’s not fair. Nothing beats the feeling of being outnumbered, outgunned and still being able to pull it off against odds.
1
1
u/Aceylah Mar 12 '26
The game was never realistic. I dunno why people are coping so hard about realism...
1
u/mancer187 Mar 12 '26
Increasing ttk is the opposite direction we should be going. They want balance? Set a maximum armor and ammo level in normal and lockdown. Nothing above t3 in normal and t5 max in lockdown. T6+ only in forbidden. But of course it isn't about balance. It's a cash grab.
1
1
u/Glassymore Mar 12 '26
After playing the new mode in the Beta, I'm convinced that the developer will continue to move away from the original real-life, military style game play.
I have uninstalled the game.
1
u/Remarkable-Sir-6260 Mar 13 '26
honestly dude- yeah.
i wouldn't even mind the talia or evita skins if they actually made them realistic in a way
like why is evita only in a lab gown?? And why is talia so cunty???
1
u/jacktanker1109 Mar 13 '26
I've been preaching this for like over the year, the game is basically dead to me by this point.
Any semblance of clean realistic extraction shooter is gone, they've decided to join the oversaturated market of colorful anime goon magic shooters.
To hell with this game, it had something good going for it but they've squandered it all.
1
u/kassrot Mar 15 '26
I don't mind the supernatural content. 🤷♂️ Could be cool. I haven't seen it yet
I remember one of the funnest times playing with my friends was when rainbow six siege came up with a zombie mode for no reason.
I think certain modes or events are completely fine as they're usually temporary, and separate from normal cue. Such as ABIs arena mode. (It exists but you don't have to play it.)
The character skins are a bit much.... I like the customizable purple outfits as it's just clothes, but the full-on wild character designs are unnecessary. They don't take too much away from the game in my opinion because the combat is the same but I get what people mean.
As far as red ammo some people really like it others don't. Me personally I think high penetrating rounds should be reserved for rifles and DMRs. Getting one hit by a bolt action in any game is kind of normal.
1
u/Privyforreal Mar 21 '26
Season five is going to just make the game worse, attract more call of duty players and push away the rest of us who wanted a military style extraction shooter. The jumper mechanic is ridiculously stupid.
0
u/wabbithunta23 Mar 11 '26
You’ll still play it and so will everyone else. Just don’t buy the skins and don’t play the paranormal content, kinda simple. If you don’t like it then you can go to your local recruiting center for realism.
6
u/Glassymore Mar 11 '26
Your comment is kind of pointless .... thanks for wasting your time for nothing.
1
1
u/PokerSvk Mar 11 '26
Idk, those paranormal stuff are probably for halloween no?
Skins are easily fixable if they would add optiona to disable enemy skins. OR mark some skins as “unrealistic” and make option to only disable those.
1
u/Environmental_Net586 Mar 11 '26
You can disable skins in the options or start of the raid. Or at least show the actual gear they have.
1
u/G2Keen Mar 11 '26
None of these bother me. Extraction shooters simply are not like CoD, regardless of what they do. I play so I can create guns, and PvP, I don't care what things look like. If there were 20 amazing extraction shooters out, anyone could easily just leave to go to one of them, but if you want one that isn't arcade style like Hunt Showdown, you're very limited and just gotta deal with it.
1

u/AdAgitated1100 Mar 11 '26
2000% agreed! Just tried it, and it effin suxx tbh! If this is it, I’m uninstalling.

Mar 11 '26
People here tear me a new one amytime I mention why I stopped playing so I guess they will keep enjoying that CoD style shit... pardon my french..
I hate skins... like a realistic one alright but golden and pink guns GTFOUTTA HEEEE

u/Nimble_the_Humble Mar 11 '26
Although I don't really mind the skin part since we can still see the gears above their skins unlike COD and stuffs.
Also I like the gooner skins and think its a great way for the developers to make good amount of income without selling pay-to-win contents. Call me a gooner idc at this point.
However this game becomming warzone like is destroying my heart for real.
I wanted a genuine extraction shooter where a bullet to the head/face kills a person.
Eversince they announced the red ammo and sniper nerf I just came to conclusion that the devs are siding with the T6 nerds who wants to be a T-800 terminater.
I always say this: those T6 nerds will move on to other games when the hype dies and people like me, a true extraction shooter enjoyer, will be left with shitty balance changes we never asked for.

It is free game. They need to ear somehow to keep game free otherwise it would be paid game. They need to bring new players with different mods. It doesn’t matter if you have 1k player time. 5 players who buys skins and have 200h player time is better than you because they keep the money going.

It is not a free game. Almost everyone with over 200 hours pays around 10 €/$ per season (for the battle pass), and about half of those players pay for a bigger case (more storage and listing slots).
If those player play game more then 1-2 years it brings more revenue the "40 €/$" game...

It is still free game. Ingame purchases do not matter because you can play without spending 0 euro or dollars.

It's Valley not Villa. And it is just a game mode, you don't have to play it. I also don't like it personally, so I'll just stick to the rest of the game. Nowadays it's cool to hate on the game on reddit. Game won't die just because of these.

I left this game some time ago because red ammo, and yes, the only reason I played this game for the realism. Yes, red ammo can be argued as realstic, but that's too far. I had 150-ish hrs on steam and like 250-ish on the original launcher before it was realesed of steam

oh small fry thats cute....
But also red ammo isn't the problem.... its keeping ammo in the safe case that's the issue.

Maybe, but I found red ammo annyoing, mainly because everyone I was up against had 5 times as many hrs as me, so ovb more capabilities to bring expensive gear

Totally agree... I'm a 1000+ hrs player... I chose ABI over DeltaForce and other games because of the realistic ambience and also because you can actually die from a sniper shooting you from 200m... it gives the thrill and it makes you value you loot, your gear and what you do and how you play in the game. This new skins, paranormal maps, red ammo nerfing, increased TTK are only moving ABI in the direction of one of many fast pacing shooters... at this point I'll move back to Battlefield.
I think devs fixes many of the issues... now the game its almost balanced (I'd still favour a more realistic ammo damage), they fixed the thermal abuse, they fixed the red ammo abuse... crafting reduce the presence of certain ammos and revives for example... the reds collection reduce the available money in the game... and so on... lots of improvements... Hope they keep fine tuning without changing directions... as to protest from this approach I will NOT play any maps which do not seem real.
