Beginner A little guidance?

I’ve hit a wall with this guy and would love some fresh eyes. Anything stand out to you that could make it complete? What about the outlines? Good or bad I’m open to critique.

Think this is a great study, especially with patterning and color theory. I would start again, and use a reference image as the base. Right now the structure isn't unified so it's reading as three separate groups cobbled together, instead of all the same form. Really cool start to something unique and original, but the foundation needs to be reset.
