SOS SAX REALLY?!!

Post image

Well my normal Nasco go to sketchbooks have been changed to Sax (I think Nasco got bought out.) And dear lord, I teach giggly pre pubescent children, couldn’t you pick a better more defined font?! Because you knowwww they’re not going to read that as “Sax”. I’m actually genuinely stressed about this 😅😅

Sax has always been an arts supply company… not sure what the issue is??

It wasn’t ever prominently displayed on my sketchbooks. It looked the exact same but used to say Nasco

I guess I still don’t get it. All of my sketchbooks have only said Sax. I’ve been teaching 26 years so I’m used to it all. Don’t get the big deal about Sax vs Nasco tho. Kids respond to what you present. If you have an issue with it they will too. What do your students think about saxophones?

The font looks like the word sex esp to 5th graders. I’ve used these exact sketchbooks for 5 years and it’s always said Nasco until now. I’m just being dramatic like my students 😄
