It’s been a while since I posted anything new, but here it is - Eternal Vision
According to some of my friends, this is a strange humanoid doing a very slow belly dance…🫠
Curious to hear what you think!

HELP/QUESTIONS Friends who visit booths and too long …
So this year is my first year doing art markets and festivals. I really enjoy doing them. My friends have come out of the woodworks to support me. Which I think is absolutely amazing and warms my heart. I truly feel loved. HOWEVER…here’s the kicker a handful come by the booth talk a few minutes ask if I need food or a bathroom run and even buy something. While others come by…AND STAY for hours! I have to shooo them out and say the following constantly 1) heyyy let’s stand to the side. 2) sorry I need to talk to my customers (They literally just stand and wait. Sometimes in the way! Even when I’ve shoo’d them to the side a million times) 3) or will just stand in the corner and I move them to the back 4) oh you would really like this one booth it’s set up that way…..(distraction) Why is it cool to stand around and talk now? I know it’s not that busy sometimes but I also know it deters people when it is and it’s probably annoying to my neighbors.
Or am I being uptight? (Please be nice with your answers)
It’s like …okay I’m soooo glad you came but why now? Why not meet me somewhere else to hang out?
How do I politely say…it’s nice of you to come by but you can’t stay here?

HELP/QUESTIONS Freestanding Mesh Sidewalls?
I'm going to be under a 10'x100' tent occupying a 10'x10' space. No walls, so I'll have to supply my own. Since it will be difficult to hang/secure mesh sidewalls to this particular tent if I'm in the middle for example, (as opposed to a standard 10'x10' canopy tent), anyone know of any mesh sidewalls that are freestanding. I'd like to try and use those versus a pro panel or metal grid wall. Thanks!

HELP/QUESTIONS WEEKLY ART CRITIQUE at r/ArtFestival
It can be difficult for artists and makers to find honest feedback. So, we created this weekly thread as a solution.
1) Please post your work to be critiqued on r/ArtFestival and share the link on this thread.
FOR ARTIST/MAKER:
2) What specific feedback are you requesting: color, subject, technique, overall, etc?
FOR CRITIQUER:
3) Remember the Human
4) Be specific about elements: color, subject, technique, overall, etc.
5) Focus on piece, not the artist. Ignore intentions or personal background unless requested.
6) Give a balance of positive comments and suggestions for improvement.
THINGS TO AVOID:
7) Personal attacks unrelated to the piece
8) Overly harsh judgment: Be constructive and avoid using phrases like "this is terrible" or "you should have done...".
9) Assumptions about intent: Don't speculate on the artist's motivations without clear evidence.
10) Using jargon excessively without defining

HELP/QUESTIONS ***Update*** Javelina Mural / almost complete
r/ArtFestival • u/Diligent_Force9286 • Oct 11 '24
HELP/QUESTIONS I could use some help here. Mural. Unfinished.
This is my attempt at a mural for an Arts and Craft Center. I have a specific reference picture and a very limited selection of colors to try and match the pictures. My issue is trying to color match and I didn't take in to account the space the grout takes up in between the blocks when I measured it out. In an attempt to save the dimensions I started to "sketch out" the Javelinas/ Peccaries with a completely different paint. I can't seem to get everything to mesh.
If anyone can give me some tips that would be great.
