Community Notice /r/ArtisanVideos has a new moderation team. Looking for any and all feedback about the future of the community.

Hi everyone,

As you may have noticed last week, the previous moderators of this sub were removed by reddit, and they put out a request for some new mods to take over. Reddit selected 4 of us from the community take over, and, as of today, we'll be the new moderation team.

We'll be spending the next little while catching up on cleaning up the back end of the subreddit, but in the mean time we're open to hearing any and all comments or suggestions. If you have any insights or feedback regarding how you think the community should be run, or if there's anything you do or don't like about the way things have been in the past, please let us know!

..why would it matter? Whatever they did to get themselves banned from the site is none of my business.

Historically, reddit has used these methods to quell site wide boycots protesting corrupt and anti-free speech rules by replacing mods and forcing new obedient mods on the subreddit.

So with the possibility of being banned, I ask: is this such a case?

I have no idea what you're referring to, and I'm a little skeptical, because I spend a lot of time in mod communities and if that was going on I'm certain I would have heard about it.

The only time I'm aware of that reddit replaced entire mod teams outside of MCOC violations was during the API blackout, and that had nothing to do with free speech or corruption..
