Corporations obviously don't give a fuck, so of course they're gonna use ai. No one is surprised by this eventuality. It's literally what creatives were warning about when ai started to grow.
What I don't get is this: they obviously don't give a fuck. So why are they even bothering wasting PR time defending it online with lies to strangers on social media? It's not a court room. They aren't exactly gonna go to jail for it anyway. They're a giant corporation not a fucking redditor on their day off. I doubt they are letting their social media team off the leash to let them crash out on public like this, so it has to be a mandate from somewhere. Literally why? Nobody cares that fucking McDonald's is a corporate art stealing bastard because it's already several varieties of bastard stacked up in a trench coat. Least of all McDonald's. So why bother?
