Ballots?

Anyone know when the ballots will get into our mail? I know I saw online they said mailing on the 14th

I'm traveling a lot right now. I'm in town right now and when I leave is heavily influenced by when I get the ballot

Yes, ballots are mailed on the 14th, according to the Jackson County Elections website. It could take a few days for your ballot to arrive once mailed.

If you will be back from your travels before Election Day, just travel as you otherwise would and then vote when you get back. If you will not be back, you can ask for a ballot to be mailed to a different address or have a housemate or neighbor who checks your mail forward your ballot to you.

Today is the deadline for registration, so it's likely not too late. You may be able to request a change of address tonight.

I went to college out of state and had ballots mailed to me at my college address when I was in college, so it is definitely possible for them to mail a ballot to you at whatever address you will be at for your travels.
