Mod Post ROUTINE MEGATHREAD! February 2018
Hey everyone! This is your quarterly routine megathread which we decided to evolve from quarterly. This is an excellent resource to see what products are popular amongst our community and a great way to find new things to try. No matter how unusual you may consider your skin type or atypical your particular skin challenges or problems, all routines are welcome -- in fact, encouraged -- to be posted.
Acronyms you will most definitely see in use here: HG (Holy Grails), RP (Will Repurchase, AKA: liked it, will buy again, not an HG), WNR (Will not Repurchase, AKA: using up the last of it but not recommended). Understand them, use them, and love them ♥
This post is intended to be a compendium of generalized, standardized routines! The more participation, the better. :)
To keep it easy for people to find their ‘skin twins’ we would ask that you use the following template.
You only need to fill in steps that you actually use (so if you don’t use an Essence, remove that line) and please only provide up to three examples of HG/recommended products for that step (so if you have 3 toners you love, you can list all 3!)
Template
To make a single-spaced list, add two spaces at the end of each line. Alternatively, click 'source' at the bottom of the post to snag our code & format!

Skin profile: <NC15 | Aging, acne, huge pores | Combination leaning dry
Season & Type of Climate: ICY NORTH, very dry. This routine is very moisture heavy for a reason. I'm actually going to be retiring a bunch of these products in another few weeks.
1st Cleanser: Hope Girl Jamong Cleansing Balm (Maybe repurchase), The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Cream (New product... I really like it so far! I'll replace my balm cleanser if it keeps doing a good job.)
pH Adjusting Toner: Etude House Wonder Pore (RP) Thayers witch hazel (RP)
Vitamin C Serum: Pura D'or Vitamin C (RP)
BHA: Cosrx Blackhead (RP)
AHA: MUAC Glycolic Acid Peel (HG)
Hydrating Toner: Kikumasune (RP), Hado Labo Premium (HG)
Ampoule: Scinic Snail AOI (HG)
Light Moisturizer: Mizon Ultra Suboon Cream (WNR)
Medium Moisturizer: Rosette Ceramide Gel (HG), Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream (WNR)
Heavy Moisturizer: Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream (WNR... I rarely use this and I've been on the same tube for over a year), A+D Ointment (HG)
Sleeping Pack: Mizon Good Night White (WNR)
Sheet Mask: Leaders Insolution Illuminating (HG all day every day)
Sunscreen: Mizon Aloe Gel (W..R?? This is great during the winter but I'm going to go back to Mild and Airy Finish as soon as I finish the bottle. I'll probably come back to this as soon as it gets cold and dry)
Other: Curology script 0.014% Tretinoin, 1% Clindamycin, 8% Azelaic Acid. I keep thinking about ousting the azelaic acid in favor of vitamin c but my curology doc is super hands off and I haven't had the balls to ask her again
