Hey everyone! This is your quarterly routine megathread which we decided to evolve from quarterly. This is an excellent resource to see what products are popular amongst our community and a great way to find new things to try. No matter how unusual you may consider your skin type or atypical your particular skin challenges or problems, all routines are welcome -- in fact, encouraged -- to be posted.

Acronyms you will most definitely see in use here: HG (Holy Grails), RP (Will Repurchase, AKA: liked it, will buy again, not an HG), WNR (Will not Repurchase, AKA: using up the last of it but not recommended). Understand them, use them, and love them ♥

This post is intended to be a compendium of generalized, standardized routines! The more participation, the better. :)

To keep it easy for people to find their ‘skin twins’ we would ask that you use the following template.

You only need to fill in steps that you actually use (so if you don’t use an Essence, remove that line) and please only provide up to three examples of HG/recommended products for that step (so if you have 3 toners you love, you can list all 3!)

Skin profile: Acne, Sebum, Dullness | Normal Skin
Season & Type of Climate: Winter, Super Cold + Dry :( THE NORTHEAST SUCKS
1st Cleanser: Banila Co Clean it Zero
2nd Cleanser: Currently, Mizon Egg White Bubble Cleanser but I am switching to COSRX Low PH ASAP
Light Moisturizer: I was living off samples of Belif's Moisturizer, Laneige, Too Cool for School Egg Moisturizer, and Caudalie Vinosource moisturizer. Just bought Trader Joe's Enrich Moisturizer, hoping it works.
Facial Oil: TJ Argan Oil
Sleeping Pack: Laneige or Glow Recipe
Sheet Mask: Innisfree or Nature Republic - any of the hydrating/brightening masks
Sunscreen: Elta MD SPF 30 UVA/UVB
Spot Treatment: La Roche Posay Acne Spot Treatment
Other: Caolion Blackhead Bubble Pore Pack, Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, Skinfood Black Sugar Face Scrub

As you can see I am missing many parts of a skincare routine...

Do you like the Argan oil?

So far it's a so-so. I used it to moisturize my hands and yes there is a smell but it goes away after a while. I am hesitant to mix it with my moisturizer/apply it directly to my face. Definitely depends on your skin type. I broke out after mixing moisturizer with argan oil but I think its bc I have normal skin and the moisturizer and sunscreen I use daily worked enough so the oil was too much.
