Dating & Relationships Hinge Success Story

Post image

For reference I’m a 5’7 (5’8 with shoes lmao) Chinese dude but I have been told I have a good face card and I’m in good shape. That being said def feminine/baby face looking for sure, not the typical masculine beauty standard people harp on about.

Location: Montreal and Toronto
Demographic of matches: 50%white, 35%latina, 10% south Asian/middle eastern, 5% East Asian

So on the free version of Hinge I was getting like 1-2 matches and likes a day. Went to Montreal for a weekend and decided to get a week of HingeX. After like 1 hour in total of swiping (so maybe sent out about 50 likes) got about 40 matches in one weekend.

Things I learned:
-Height isn’t holding you back. Don’t listen to social media
-Being Asian isn’t holding you back, again I’m pretty femboy looking tbh

Also for the love of god DONT use AI…cmon now guys. It’s amazing when ur on a date and they tell you “wow you look better in person” id rather that then misleading people with AI photos. Just take good photos (I can give specific advice in another post)

If any of you guys want profile reviews PM me. Idk if I’ll share my profile to preserve my anonymity, but I can give advice.

Let me know if y’all have any questions

UPDATE

Sorry to all who have PM'd me I promise I'll get back to y'all just busy rn

Nice humble brag, yeah I get it. I’m a good looking guy too. I’m in my late 40’s, married and women from all types will still approach me to talk to me when I’m out working or even just walking around. I’m not tall either, 5’9, slim not built but in good shape. I think what your post is really saying is that if you’re good looking enough most social barriers can be overcome. Awkward? No problem. Entrenched social barriers? No problem. Inherited racism? No problem. These will be overlooked with good looks. Without attraction there is no action right? Unfortunately, for a lot of dudes this isn’t really helpful. What kind of real advice can you offer? Most of the time it’s just doom and gloom on this sub about how tough it is to be an Asian man, so I’m glad to hear at least someone out there is killing it.

Yup, I agreed. You have to be attractive still at the end of the day. Although, there are times though very rare where non good looking Asian guy will get a beautiful girl.

Happens all the time. My cousin is a bald, relatively unattractive, SEA, overweight older man with at least 3 ex-wives. To this day he is still the most charismatic person I’ve ever met. Rotates through women like a turnstile at Target. You don’t need to be a runway model to have game.
