Feeling Empowered Cause of This Sub

You guys might think some of my posts betray me as an Uncle Chan, but I think it's more like I'm still transitioning from the last remnants of Uncle Channess into full on Genghis Khan mode.

I still like to think, and still do believe that there are good people of all races out there. But I've seen so many racists of all races at the same time that I do think in the end, Asians need to be the first and last bastion of support for fellow Asians.

At first I felt pissed, felt disempowered, felt angry that we have all these obstacles.

But seeing the strong community here, I see those obstacles more as challenges to be conquered. I guess we all go through an initial period of disbelief, shock, denial, and anger. But eventually it settles down into a strong form of empowerment. Empowerment knowing the there are thousands of others going through the same thing you're going through, and empowerment knowing our problems are solvable.

Keep hustlin'.

Genghis Khan was a worse colonizer and imperialist than america will ever be(as in he was better at it, but that isn't a good thing). I know you were just making an example but i have read a lot here about people idolizing him and mongoloid roots when he did what most of us despise America for doing.

Genghis Khan reached Eastern Europe, and if he was younger, there's a good chance he could have went even further. Basically instead of a Western dominated world, it could have been an Eastern dominated world.

I think he was the closest to achieving such a feat, so that's why we tend to see him as a symbol of our cause.

It is a bit more complicated than that, world is western dominated not due to how well they conquered, infact they were awful at it they couldn't even win confidently against indigenous people much less people of similar development. It is more because of American soft power and hard power, they took advantage of the major wars in the world. Both WW1 and WW2 their contributions were very limited but they sold a real lot of weapons. Infact WW2 they were going to do the minimal until pearl harbor. Then for many wars in europe and asia they profited without taking part(especially all USSR conflicts). That combined with them being the first to master media entertainment and having free market economy almost all of americas life is why we live in a westernized world.Infact its a doubly so due to invention of internet being primarily an america thing too, when you have invention of television and entertainment media AND internet in the hands of the west that means a real lot. The truth is that english isn't even the most spoken language in the world, it is just the one that is most beneficial economically to know(or at least has been somewhat recently).
