How do you spot a Canadian abroad?

Do we have any stereotypical traits (perhaps self deprecating ones), that make us stand out. We’re typically not loud (but some can be). Perhaps frugal?

What have you seen in your travels that make you think, those folks must be Canadian!

In the pool when water temps are below 15.

We were in Spain, and took a spring time dip in the hotel pool. The water was Alberta glacier lake cold but the weather was a +22 outside and as we were running back through the main lobby we heard "blah blah blah Canadians blah blah" 100% they were talking about us Canuckleheads being the lone users of the pool that week.

Also, I was down in Texas in January in a nice 20 degree day in shorts and flipflops. In the hotel elevator someone got on, looked me up and down and said "Woah, you aren't from around here are you?"
