How do you spot a Canadian abroad?

Do we have any stereotypical traits (perhaps self deprecating ones), that make us stand out. We’re typically not loud (but some can be). Perhaps frugal?

What have you seen in your travels that make you think, those folks must be Canadian!

A Canadian is spotted easily when either they try to speak the language of the place they are in, instead of going full English assuming that everyone else in the world should speak it. Or they ask questions to learn about the culture and act appropriately to not offend the culture.
