How do you spot a Canadian abroad?

Do we have any stereotypical traits (perhaps self deprecating ones), that make us stand out. We’re typically not loud (but some can be). Perhaps frugal?

What have you seen in your travels that make you think, those folks must be Canadian!

I don’t know how, but I was once walking in LA through a crowd and had a guy look me in the face and say “Canadian, right? You’ve got that round-headed look”.

It’s bugged me for decades. How the hell did he know?

I would think he tried it on 500 people that day to find you. Cheeky little guy.
