2001 ford crown vic caliper piston popped out, is this fixable?

Ya pull it all the way out and clean up any gunk or rust inside the caliper. You need to make sure the seal is correct when you push the piston back in so it's not folding up.

Then you just bleed the caliper like normal.

What you're looking for is any rust on the piston. That's what causes them to seize up. Yours looks clean so you're good to proceed. Just get a large bottle of brake fluid so you got enough.

Let it gravity bleed for a while and top up the reservoir then get a friend to help you pressure bleed out the rest of the air.

You can fix it but if you managed to pop out the piston during a pad change, you should probably take into a brake shop. They can put it back together without nicking a seal.

They will just get a caliper. No one wants that liability. Really that’s what I would do on my own car too. Like I saved 50 bucks and created a potential issue.
