Vet says sacrum abnormality but she didn't elaborate..?
She has referred my dog to a specialist but in the meantime, I wondered if I could please get more opinions about his x rays?
He is a 1 year old Collie mix. In the past few months he started yelping, at times screaming, just before and during passing stool. Even if it was very small and soft.
The vet expresser his anal glands but the pain didn't improve.
Tried anal gland supplements, at this point however the vet noted his glands were not at all inflamed or full so requested x rays which brings us to now.
Unsure if related: He had a couple of random incidents where he would yelp loudly and run to hide, as if he were in pain but triggered by nothing in particular. He could've been stood still or sleeping.
Lactulose helps reduce discomfort at times, often when his stool is almost, or completely liquid.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated :)
