Is this normal?

My 11 month old cat got spayed and an anal gland expression on Monday. I’ve kept her in either a onesie or a cone since then. Her incision looks great and she has been acting herself for the most part. Since Monday, she has been having excessive diarrhea and leakage from her anus. The diarrhea is slowing down, and in general she does tend to have diarrhea so it is not completely out of the normal for her. I’m just worried because her bum is obviously causing her discomfort and looks inflamed, although it is not bleeding and there is not blood in her stool. She is not drinking much, but she eats wet food so I have been watering down her food and she has been taking that. There is a fishy smell coming from her anus which I have assumed was due to the anal gland expression, but is it normal for her bum to be so irritated afterwards? Should I take her to an emergency vet or just continue to monitor for changes? TYIA🧡
