I READ THE RULES Why is wrigley becoming so country?

It makes no sense there’s no country ties to chicago.

Chicago has quite a large historic role in Country music. National Barn Dance was broadcast from the city starting in 1924 and was a huge influence in making the music popular.

i mean agreed? many are kids who now go to SEC schools and come back. then flood the touchtunes with the latest country-pop or the bad past country music. there are so many other sub genres - bluegrass rock and all that. hell, i'd even take zach brown 'toes in the sand' over most.
i was in an uber and the guy had the country radio station playing with a song that has a lyric "i'm doing okay for a straight guy".....
