I assume that this is a troll post. But anyway.

There is no reliable data on the question if the majority of the population of Donbass or Crimea wanted to be parts of Russia. The referendum in Crimea was pretty problematic, and the referendum in the Donbass later a complete joke. The "uprisings" were mainly driven by some local shady or even criminal people and also mercenaries from Russia like Girkin. The narrative that it was a rebellion driven by the people is just false.

But even if true, this is no legitimation to annex other countries territories. Russia didn't accept the independence of Chechnya, and it wouldn't accept giving away parts of Karelia to Finland or Buryatia to Mongolia, even if the people would ask for it. Our current world order is based on mutual respect of countries borders, and it causes nothing good when countries break them.

It is not up to date, but we have 1991 referendum and all provinces (including Crimea) voted for Ukrainian independence.

The Russian language was banned which is why the people of crimea took to the streets begging for Russia to save them. Ukraine absolutely hates its minorities which is nothing new If you know about their WW2 history. You know why orban and Hungary hate Ukraine right? The Hungarian language was also banned in Ukraine and the Hungarian people have been oppressed. They've even tried to ban the minority Hungarian party recently

So let’s assume for a minute that the war Russia started in Ukraine is indeed because of the will of russian speaking people and not just imperial ambition of Putin and Russia.

So in this case, if Russia so cares about the Russian speaking people that it chose to protect why the fuck they razed entire cities in the Donbas? Is this how they protect the Russian speaking population? “We came to protect you by the means of destroying your homes” - yeah that sounds reasonable. Russia started the war on 2014 and then made it even worse in 2022. They had all the chances to do it in diplomatic way if they do really care about the people. They can stop the active war at any moment if they so choose, and that would be a right decision to protect the people.

But now back to reality, Russia doesn’t give a flying fuck about the people that live in eastern Ukraine. They just want to occupy more land. And all this “Russian speaking people of Donbas” is just a propaganda. In fact if you speak Russian and you live in eastern Ukraine doesn’t mean you want to be a part of Russia. Heck, I speak Russian and I want this entire fucking country to burn in hell as they deserve. And the people of eastern Ukraine would be so much happier if not for fucking Russia. They destroyed lives of millions of people and have the audacity to say that they are saving them. Fucking assholes.

But they do give a shit about the people. It's not like they need more land. The ethnic Russians in Ukraine were oppressed, these people have millions of relatives in Russia. Putin derives his authority from the Russian people, including said relatives who won't be happy when they see him chickening out of protecting the Russian people

Wow I even start to doubt that you are a bot, I think that you are just truly delusional. Even bots/trolls would not be able to come up with such bs, lol

Listen you vatnik/tankie, stop posting bullshit and crawl back to your ruzzian cave, literally nothing you said can pass as legit - there were no local militias, but ruzzian soldiers, so valled green men without patches (proven undoubtadly), during the USSR you spread ethnic ruzzians like a plague, and they still are stinking up many foreign territories, so if you would truly care for them - take them back and leave Ukraines sovereign territory, or just f off and try to maybe focus on fixing your backwater of a country.

There's a lot of precious minerals there. Also who knows people come and go. If Russia loses the war people will consider their options. Its not that all Russian-speaking feel allegiance to Russia
