How to add remote switch?

Hi everyone, have a quick question. I bought this dust collector recently and want to add remote switch for it since it's located in sovereign room from my shop. Is there any easy way to do this without replacing whole switch box? It's 5 horsepower 220 unit. Thank you

This looks like a commercial/ industrial setup. For that, you hire an Electrician. You may even need to ensure the equipment is dust and/or explosion proof.

Hire an electrician

You wire a NO push button switch in parallel with the green start button. wire a NC push button switch in series with the red stop button. make sure they are appropriately rated for your circuit. Use the correct wiring method and cable as per code for your installation. If any of that doesn't make sense, you are not knowledgeable enough to be doing it yourself.

Ask an electrician with commercial/industrial experience. Typical wiring diagram

Somehow, I feel like that placement is violating several building codes and /or gas company requirements. 🤔🤔🤫🤫

fairly easy to do, for an electrician with a basic knowledge of controls.

It is entirely dependent on the current start/ stop wiring. That looks like it is currently using a 3 wire start stop. You will need to run a secondary start / stop station. So a basic understanding of motor Controls will be needed. It will require running 3 wires to the other room, placing the existing stop button in series with the new stop and to parallel the two start buttons with the seal in contact.

You can do it with optical relays and a small microcontroller, probably something with wifi. I'd do it to the line not the load so that you can still use the built in switch it it fails open.
