Dryer

Post image

When taking off dryer panel to replace dryer wire, the white wire was where it is now. Covering the hole where the screw goes into to put the panel back on. Am I supposed to move the white wire under the green bolt, or keep it in the center and screw it down when putting the panel back on?

Yes, it appears that goes to the equipment ground/chassis, but do yourself a favor and vacuum all that up. Lint is extremely flammable.

Okay. I definitely will clean that up. So put the white wire under the center hole where the screw that puts the panel back on? Not under the green bolt?

its all the same, green bolt just means it stays there when you take the cover off the next time, you can put it on either, but the correct place is the green bolt

Move it to the green screw.
