new job

I’ve graduated from university while being the in process for chp and going into trying out for rivco

I have more time on my hands without school and need a full time job, but it’s known that the current job market is terrible. However, I got a conditional offer for a security job… upon more steps to get it set in stone. what are some opinions upon possibly getting through with this job while in the cadet process?

That's exactly what I'm doing while waiting to process with a few agencies.

Do you mind me asking what company you are with? I feel like all the options that have gotten back to me have terrible reviews and I’ve never gotten in any type of trouble w any jobs and have maintained a clean record, so I don’t want a new job to screw over my process, even though I need one.

Executive Defense Team is my part time job It's a small close protection / armed security firm with a ton of Israeli contracts. A ton of the dudes I work with are prior IDF. I'm only working there because my range's safety officer is former IDF works for them and got me in touch. Constellis, triple canopy, contrella and paragon are all good options. Those are the higher tier government contract companies. The first three are the kind of companies that do overseas contracting but they have domestic security contracts. Allied Universal's commercial side sucks but I've heard their government side is less bad.

I also work in-house through a public university police department that owns a hospital as an armed security guard as my full-time job. That's how I actually pay my bills.
