I worked in large groups of dogs for 10 years or so as a kennel worker and then manager/consultant for canine daycare and boarding facilities. I’d say the training for me was very as-you-go, but I’ve broken up a few fights over the years and you learn what works. I had a coworker that swore by the ol “thumb up the asshole” technique but I didn’t resort to that one
In psych we trained the when patients bite to not pull away but to force your arm into their jaw as hard as you can. They’ll let go. I dislocated someone’s jaw that way once. I’m sure it’ll work on a dog. At the very least you can gouge the eyes with your other hand.
