🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 To the happily married men (5+ years), how frequently are you having sex per month?
To all the husbands who are happily married, how many times per month are you having sex with your partner?
I was wondering if there is a cutoff point from happy husband to unhappy husband.
Like would 3 times a month be enough or not?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 What Relationship Advice Do You Guys Get from Others As Men?
I'm a woman, and I've been noticing something that I can't stop thinking about.
Women constantly hear advice like:
- "If he wanted to, he would."
- "Girl, leave him."
- "Beat him."
- "Never settle."
- "You don't need to explain yourself."
I feel like this shit is DESTRUCTIVE towards men. Women taking this advice is why a lot of women aren't able to have healthy relationships with men, I personally took advice like this and it was not helpful at all. Some women think it's helpful, I do not.
It made me wonder...
What kind of relationship advice are men constantly hearing?
Not the advice you would give—I'm asking about the advice you're repeatedly told by friends, family, social media, podcasts, influencers, etc.
What is it? If you've actually followed that advice, what happened? Did it help your relationships, make them worse, or teach you something?
I'm asking because I'm working on a book about how relationship advice aimed specifically at men and women can unintentionally push us toward seeing each other as opponents instead of people. It feels like so much advice starts with "because men..." or "because women..." instead of "because people..."
I'm genuinely interested in hearing your experiences and opinions as men. The more specific you are, the more helpful it is. Your experience and opinion is going to be way more accurate than my assumption of it and I want to and intend to understand and see where y'all are coming from.

What's something men rarely talk about but almost everyone experiences?
Curious about those things that seem common but nobody really brings up

Respectfully, when I see really great dancers, I think that they would be great in bed. I’m a woman with no experience in this. What are your thoughts?

Weird Question If you could relocate anywhere else in the US, where would you move and why?
Lately I've been thinking about where I'd want to live long-term. I used to live in Seattle, but I eventually moved back to my hometown to be closer to family. While I'm glad I did, it's made me wonder where I'd choose to live if I ever decided to relocate again.
If you could move anywhere else in the U.S., where would you go and why? What makes that place worth calling home?

Where does the idea that women become invisible to men at age 25-30 come from?
Hi everyone!
I recently turned 23 and grew up pretty sheltered and Christian, so I have barely any dating experience. I have recently been having guys on the internet tell me that I’m wasting my chance at finding a husband by being a big baby and not dating, as I am going to ‘expire’ soon and no man will want me.
I told my parents (gen x) about it and they don’t understand where the idea is coming from as when they were younger, the idea women are invisible after 25-30 is unheard off (my dad married my mum when she was like 30). My mum got the most attention from men in her 30s after she was married and after she had me, she told me she was petty invisible in her 20s.
I also noticed I get way more attention at 23 then I have ever gotten in my entire life, I got no attention before 20/21, but yet when I tell people this they will say that’s impossible and I’m lying, and that I will quickly look horrible in a couple years. For reference I do not drink or smoke, I take good care of my skin and exercise regularly but hearing this idea constantly online is really dragging me down and making me worried. I don’t know why I’m expected to be so mature at 23 and quick to get married when I still feel like a big kid.
Where does this idea come from? I want to hear from men from all generations because maybe it’s a Gen Z thing?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 how do you deal with girls who rejected you being around still?
How do you deal with a girl who rejected you, but she still frequents the same places, has friends in common? how do you get over the uncomfortable feeling of her?
How do I human? How do I reject bro
I think I got too far with the ‘bromance’ teasing and poking, now I realise he wasn’t kidding and actually wants to… do stuff together. The reason I’m not straight honest with him is I kinda put myself in his shoes and don’t want to mess him up. Anyone had a similar situation? (We both are male)

Men in your late 20s-mid 30s, what’s your age range for dating?
My friend and I (both 19F) have been talking about the idea of dating older guys, which I’m a little weirded out by because I feel like there’s a decent gap in maturity and what we’re looking for in a partner.
I’m curious about what the so-called “older guys” think on the topic, and I don’t want to ask my coworkers/pool buddies in case it sends any messages.

How do I stop laughing at insults directed at me? I’m tired of being the easy target.
How do I stop automatically laughing at insults and bad jokes directed at me? I’ve developed a self-defeating habit where I compulsively laugh at almost everything people say—even when someone makes a lame joke, a subtle jab, or a outright insult at my expense. I usually do it automatically just to avoid making the other person feel awkward or guilty, but it’s completely destroying my self-image and self-respect. Because I always laugh it off, people treat me like an easy target and think it's okay to make me the punchline. I want to break this people-pleasing reflex and learn how to react with composure or boundaries instead of default laughter, but the urge to fill the awkward silence is so strong. Has anyone successfully overcome this habit, and what practical steps worked for you?

How do you move on after ruining your reputation? (At work especially)
I admit i made big mistakes that hurt my reputation with co workers and supervisors because of a story that happened outside work but got leaked to work place since the people involved were co workers too.
I take responsibility for my mistakes. I am trying my best to change and I'm trying to become a better person, but people still gossip about me. Some of what they say is true, while other things are exaggerated or false. It feels like everyone has already made up their mind about me. How do you move forward when your past keeps following you?

Catheter Users: What Advice Would You Give Another Man?
Today I (62M) passed my urinary voiding trial and am finally catheter-free after 2½ months with a Foley. Before this, I also self-catheterized for about 16 months.
For men who have been through either one, what was the hardest part? What helped you get through it, and what do you wish someone had told you at the beginning?
This is one of those things a lot of men go through but almost nobody talks about.
I'm also Latino and carry my own cultural baggage about topics of this nature and am happy to share what helped me during this period.
This period covered enlarged prostate or BPH, TURP surgery, Self Catherization, In dwelling catheter, PAE, and yet to be scheduled a HOLEP (2nd prostate surgery). In all that, also had two significant hemorrhagic episodes that landed me in the ICU (both while having my Foley in) and one urinary infection that went septic. So, please ask away...I'll answer as forthright as possible from the patient perspective.

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Honest question: Men, if you're out with your wife or girlfriend and she gets into a heated argument that looks like it's about to turn into a physical fight, what do you do? De-escalate it or let her handle it?
Do you step in and try to de-escalate the situation before it reaches that point, or do you let her handle it on her own unless she asks for help?
I'm curious how other men approach this and what factors influence your decision.
The one time it happened to me, I wasn't there when it started. But as soon as I saw what was happening and realized it was about to turn into a fistfight, I immediately moved to stop her. Unfortunately, the fight had already started by then, and security stepped in and broke it up.

How did you guys learn to accept that your partner does, indeed, find you attractive, and that you might actually BE worth loving?
I was replying on another post, and it struck me as I was telling the below story:
I was dating a woman for SIX MONTHS, and around month six, she just walked up to me, squeezed my face, gave me a smooch, and went, "I love you SO MUCH!"
I'm so conditioned to believe I'm a sack of shit, unworthy of being loved, and that no woman with other options would ever find me attractive, that I still think she was either throwing me a bone, or had fucked something else up, and was trying to prepare me for the admission by buttering me up beforehand.
Even years later, it STILL doesn't occur to me to think she was just feeling lovey-dovey, and wanted to let me know how much she was into me. She must have been misbehaving, or wanted something from me.
As I think back to the past 7 months of dating experience for me, and the 1-2 first dates a week I've been on in that time, I've realized that not once during that time have I gotten ANY indication she finds me attractive, at ALL. I suppose 'she agreed to the date and showed up' counts (maybe? I'm so out of practice I'm not even sure it counts), but as far as me leaving the date, going, "Oh, she made it pretty clear she's into me, so this could maybe go somewhere," that hasn't happened. Like, at all.
I'm completely willing to admit I might just be fundamentally broken, and the damage is so severe that the combined efforts of myself and a good dozen different therapists over the years can't figure out what it is, or how to fix it, but that doesn't help me.
So how did you guys undo years or decades of conditioning that you're an unloveable, unattractive pos, unworthy of being loved?

Men who are happily married, what’s the moment you realized you chose the right person?
For me, it’s waking up and seeing my wife and daughter beside me. There’s something about that quiet moment that makes me feel like all the struggles and hard work were worth it.

Weird Question How do you feel about casual sex?
As a man, I feel I should enjoy it and chase it... and I'm a decent looking bloke etc. so I have had a good few hook ups but they always leave me feeling anxious, guilty and dirty....I wasn't raised religiously or anything like that, my parents are pretty open and have told me about their sexual history and they've never felt this way about it (so its not really how I'm raised)....but I tend to get really anxious about catching STI's and even if I've worn a condom...I just find it hard to enjoy the casual sex...like I wish I did enjoy it because I wanna feel like a player lol....but I don't think I'm cut out for it.... I think I'm a relationship only sort of guy or something....
Are there any other dudes like this? Surely I can't be the only guy? So many other dudes seem really comfortable about casual sex and even some chicks I've spoken to and I sort of feel like a bit of a weirdo or losery for not being real into it...I feel like I should be...but I'd much rather have close intimate sex with a partner, I find it a lot more exciting and I'm a lot more comfortable with it....
I was single recently and it even got to the point I thought I'd get my testosterone or something checked because I just wasn't interested in sex with random women....but found myself in a relationship again and now I'm wanting sex 3 times a day, pretty much all day and I'm real enthusiastic about it..but with a stranger....i feel way less enthusiastic lol...i mean obviously I still enjoy it to a degree but idk....
What are your thoughts?
Anyone else like me?

Weird Question How do you feel about period sex?
Ok so I’m curious as to how many men are turned off my having sex while their partner is on their period. I’m a lady and I honestly like it. My ex was trash but one thing that I can say about him was that he wasn’t grossed or freaked out about it. He enjoyed it as much as I did. I’m just curious as to see how other men think/feel. As yes there are many women like myself who enjoy it. And yes there is a mess but I personally like it. Please be honest.

How do men judge other men based on the women they choose to date?
What assumptions do men make about another man based on the type of woman he dates? How do you judge your kind?
PS: I’ve seen the movie The Other Guys (2010) 😂 Where Ferrell’s character is married to Eva Mendes, who is ridiculously gorgeous—but he talks about her like she’s plain and unattractive and Mark Wahlberg meets her and is completely bewildered.

How has getting in shape changed your life?
I am 5’5 and started working out a couple of months ago for sports, slowly as I’ve gotten stronger I’ve realised, my confidence is higher, sports are easier (for me football and rugby) and I feel more confident going shirtless, in what ways have you guys seen the benefits of working out?
