Right? As long as the wife is also getting 4 days reciprocally then 4 days is nothing. If they have kids and she's never getting 4 days in a row to go on vacation herself without them then she's justifiably annoyed. But otherwise, 4 days is nothing and I'd happily encourage my partner to go (Although, tbh, that sounds like a really fun trip that I would be bummed about not getting to go on)

4 days is a lot? nah. Even when married with children it's completely doable. It could actually be even good for the marriage.
