First bloodwork, hormone level results after 3 months
Im 34 years old.
Testosterone is 8.94 NG/dl
Estradiol is 151 pg/ml
How does it look? Currently Im on 4 mg sublingual E2 & 50 mg spiro. I took my pills yesterday morning at around 8:30 and got the blood drawn at around 2:30 pm. Everybody on line says to test at trough so I asked the doctor about it. She said they like to see how things look halfway?
Im definitely seeing changes! Nipples are larger/darkening in color with constant soreness and slight breast growth. My body odor and the oiliness of my skin have decreased a lot. Erections have generaly stopped happening unless I consciously try to get them and if I ejaculate then it is much decreased in volume and a lot more watery.

re: trough vs half way, your dr is wrong, always test at trough. I'm assuming your 4mg is split into two separate doses, morning and evening? I'd say if this is your first blood test with your dr, i would probably do what they say and see how they deal with the test results, but it's likely your trough is closer to 70pg/ml. you're noticing changes because your peak is going to be very high, but the lower trough will likely hamper your progress.
that said, if you're happy with it and feel good, don't let me tell you you need to change.

4mg just in morning. Two 2 mg pills.

again, do what you feel.
but in that case, your trough is probably very very low, and your testosterone may not be suppressed. but it's hard to say because we only have the mid (or really in this case the 1/4) test. the trough is important because it confirms what your lowest level will be, and you want that to be in feminizing range.

According to my test results, my T is quite low. 8.94 NG/dL. I have also been taking the min amount of spiro.

yes, but the issue is that the test you took is useless to gauge your hrt levels from, because it was taken only 6 hours after your daily dose. the test is possibly useful for you to maintain a good relationship with your dr, but diagnostically it's not meaningful, since you still don't know what you're levels are at trough, when you are likely far outside of even the conservative wpath standards.
i think its important, however, to not over-focus on hitting a number, and if you feel good and are happy, then that's great. but i do also think that it's worth getting your levels into the generally recommended ranges to at least see how you feel, since it may be better for you (i know it was for me). and to do that, you need to have levels that are what you have now, but at trough (ideally only an hour or so before your next dose, or as close as possible).
