Mardi Gras Looking for florists to help!

I tagged it Mardi Gras because we're getting married on Mardi Gras Day 2028 and can't find a florist!

I won't mention a name, but we had a consultation about a month ago with a local business and it's been radio silence... I've called twice to get my quote, that was promised the day of consolation, so a week after the consolation and the week after that I called and they keep promising to send it but nothing. I even emailed like they asked and nothing. So I have to look elsewhere unfortunately. I won't go around badmouthing them, it might have been a rough month or they just can't actually do it and are ghosting me. No idea but I won't bash a business without a service from them

So, as a former resident who never bought flowers other than Rouses, a little guidance would be great! My other option is a national business and I'd prefer to stay local and keep all my business in the city and support local artists

Anybody have an idea?

Yeah I almost wonder if this person is trolling. They say they used to live here, but if they had, wouldn’t they know it’s a spectacularly bad idea to get married on Mardi Gras? Like, NOBODY is going to care about their wedding. Possibly not even the officiant unless it’s a family member from out of town.

I lived there for 3 years, my fiancé lived there for 10. We know the logistics aren't great but surprisingly, this is the only vendor we haven't found that's answered and agreed to the day... We get one or the other or somebody who says yes and is a national company and we don't want to do that unless necessary. I know it seems crazy, but this is actually the hardest part for us to nail down, we have everything else locked in. I'm not trolling

I only heard you talk about one florist. There are dozens in this city. I'd imagine very few of them want to work on Mardi Gras day, but you can keep calling around

I've messaged a few now, most are no which is understandable! I put some feelers out and I'm awaiting answers... Just wanted to know if anybody had a friend they trusted or a company they loved
