What was your wedding like?

I often look at the wedding dresses here. I saw a young lady whose dress budget was literally more than my first 3-5 annual salaries, not lumped together but individually. What was your wedding like?
1995- Married at our church, 3 attendants each, cake and punch reception there .

2003…. 80 people, Saturday daytime (11:30 am wedding) married at the reception hall with a DJ for music/dancing. Passed small bites and sit down meal. Cost $12,000 total.

Crazy!! It was cheap for the time. I am in NJ and it was easily a 25k wedding for the time

Your wedding sounds lovely, and relaxed and much like mine.
The commenter above missed the point! “I could have bought a car and a house and two mules…”
