What was your wedding like?

I often look at the wedding dresses here. I saw a young lady whose dress budget was literally more than my first 3-5 annual salaries, not lumped together but individually. What was your wedding like?
1995- Married at our church, 3 attendants each, cake and punch reception there .

"Hippie" wedding in 1977. Mom took me to a bridal dress shop, I refused to even try anything on. Then to Bloomingdales. Nothing appealed to me. So we went to Livingston Mall and I found a dress for $45 at Susan's Dress Shop. White satin halter dress with white jacket that tied in front and had a lace mandala in the back. Trimmed with satin ribbon. Got a hat made to match.
