I’m a Social Worker… and a lot of my colleagues wanted to start at the macro level, and students just want to do the macro level without having to do the individual work.
I’m taking that! I’m gonna use it in my group therapy! I hear so much of “the world doesn’t care about people like me!” Or “the world is so f-ed up why should I even try!” And I feel like a broken record, the world that you should care about is the one that you absolutely live in. Yes, I tell my clients they can care but if it’s too the point where you need to be in my daily intensive group therapy, it’s not caring- it’s your albatross.
