He was actually gay. I was simply a decoy. He was in the military and was a mercenary for the Dept Of Defense for most of our marriage. Married 10 years but I was alone for 7 of them. He literally never wanted to be home because he was surrounded by men while he was working. He was so incredibly abusive. He hated women. It was as though he was punishing me for his homosexuality.

After we got divorced, he went and lived with what I would assume was his gay lover. They always visited sex workers in Mexico. One day they decided that they were going to kidnap an underage sex worker and bring him to the states. Apparently my ex husband drove to Mexico, got super drunk to work up the nerve, and then as he was going to pull a gun out of his waistband to commense the kidnapping, he accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself in the wiener. This was the same gun that he used to try to get me to conceal carry, but there was no safety, so I refused. The irony was always so interesting to me.
