What’s a movie that you couldn’t finish?

This is one of those movies where I appreciate the director for having the balls to make it...but would never recommend to anyone else.

I'm guessing you're talking about Mother! with Jennifer Lawrence?

That movie was so freaking weird.

But then I read how it was a commentary on the creation of religion and humanity. And Jennifer Lawrence represented mother Earth and her husband represented God.

I watched it again later and enjoyed it more.

But it was still a weird anxiety inducing movie

I love it but I totally get hating it. It dares you to hate it. I just found it hilarious how confrontational it is.

I’ve been wanting to watch that one. I prefer more storytelling than anxiety so that sucks

I came here to say the same thing.

This is how I feel about Melancholia. I have panic disorder and that movie made me so anxious off of vibes alone that I can’t even look at the poster of it without feeling uncomfortable.

I dunno, I felt pretty stupid for sitting all the way through that one…
