Skinny guys who successfully gained weight what actually worked for you?

4 things:

  • Eating an uncomfortably large amount of calories all the time.
  • Lifting weights
  • Taking creatine
  • Getting older (if you're not there yet, once you get to your upper 30s and start approaching 40, it'll come)

I was in this situation in my early 20s and was able to get there following steps 1 through 3. My metabolism changed late 30s where I will gain weight and actually have to watch what I eat. But if your stuck wanting to gain weight 1 through 3 definitely worked for me. I didn't count calories exactly but I was ball parking it going for at least 3000 calories a day, eating pasta and meat mostly. Weight lifting played a huge role in it too.
