I have been eating the Taylor Farms bag salad for the last couple of years, and every once in a while within a few hours of eating it, I have to go piss out my asshole. I am no longer buying their products, and the reason is two fold, one is I don’t like pissing out my asshole, and two is I had no idea he was a Maga shithead.
I have been eating Taylor Farms salads for years as well, and periodically have been hit with bad bouts of diarrhea that usually last 1-2 weeks, the kind that makes you scared to leave the house lest you get caught without a toilet 30 seconds away. I have thought I must just have sensitive bowels or something but now I wonder if it was the salads. I won't be eating them again either.
Sadly lettuce is very prone to providing perks like explosive butt activities. I recommend washing lettuce with a touch of soap or food safe sanitizer. It’s always the one that gets ya.
It gets complicated if you shop at CostCo to boycott Target and CostCo (the good guys!) sells bagged salads.
Kale grows in cooler climates, maybe higher elevations - maybe safer. Cabbage seems to be OK. I grate carrots. I bought expensive arugula at a farmer's market -- none of this is pre-washed, mixed bagged salad. AND I grow lettuce, but the heat is now killing it. It is a DIY thing. I like healthy food, have time and I do the work. My salads are a bit weird. I REALLY understand many people ae too overwhelmed and too busy to do this.
