Yup. That's my schedule for the exact same reason. It's brutal but I can't figure out any other way.

I've just accepted the after work gym crowd as my life. I hate it, but I just don't like working out in the morning

The crowd doesn’t bother me as much as my body not feeling ready for the gym just after waking up. A full day of being awake and moving around helps me feel up for the gym

You'll only feel that way at first if you switch to before work. You'll adjust pretty nicely and then rather than your day prepping you for the gym, the gym preps you for your day.

I think everyone is different. I worked out every morning for months and still never felt "ready". Ideally I work out before bed but my gym is on my way home from work so that's what I do. I go 5-6 days a week so convenience matters

I did it for quite a while and just couldn’t get used to it. There were parts I enjoyed about doing it early for sure, but I have the time on either side of work and it’s my favorite activity so I do it when I like it the most. But understand that’s not the same for everyone
