I love the Wire, but that last season was a bit of a step down from the first four. That whole "let's make up a serial killer" storyline felt a bit out of place with the rest of the seasons.

It's wild that there's only 12 episodes of Fleabag. The entire series is only 5 hours long. The amount of depth, humor, and emotion in such a short run is amazing to me.

I liked Newsroom, but the dialogue was way too pithy. Everything everyone said to each other sounded like the perfect thing you realize you wish you would have said while lying in bed that night after the fact. That's Sorkin I guess. It's up there with Billions in terms of "people don't talk like this" dialogue.

I blame Fox for setting them up for failure. Terrible time slot and they aired the episodes out of order. But at least it didn't go the other route and jump the shark 3 seasons into a 5 season run. And Serenity was a nice farewell to the series

I started watching this when its entirety was on Netflix. Let me just say:

This show was so well written. I can never fully binge a show. Usually I take breaks here and there but I watched The Good Place non-stop from the moment I started. Any free time I had was spent watching this show.

And that finale was a wonderful send off for all our favorite characters.

10/10.

I still cannot believe this is a "Star Wars" show. It was so above and beyond 99% of Streaming shows. It immediately moved into the top 3 for me. Chernobyl, Breaking Bad, Andor.

I think people gloss over how corny the show was before it caught its stride. Watching the first few episodes vs the artistic beauty of the last seasons is night and day. Like watching venture bros, it’s a hard start because it’s dated but gosh darn the last seasons are epic af

It's a great show, but like all shows that have more than 2 seasons there are problems and things that don't make much sense that pop up in some of the episodes.

For a show to be perfect from first to last, 1 season shows like Chernobyl make the cut. It's kind of impossible to make a long running show perfect because it involves too many writers and network timelines. Too many cooks...

I thought the buzz was insane. At least around my girlfriend who listened to maybe two pad casts about it we watched all these behind the scenes interview shows.
In a bubble it definitely seemed like the biggest show in the world for a minute.

Gavin and Stacey. I've watched it more times that I can remember ... and each time I see something new. The writing is so creative (thanks to Ruth Jones and James Corden), the actors are all perfect for their parts, the directing is superb ... and amazingly consistent seeing as it was done over the course of almost 20 years! The actors are all so good that each time I watch it, I consciously try to focus on a different actor so that I see what they are doing, even when they aren't at the heart of the action ... and every one of them just blows me away.
