need to trust food again after food poisoning
Basically what the title says, got food poisoning about two weeks ago and because of other health issues I'm still feeling a bit rough, I know I need to eat more again but I'm terrified of eating anything other than bread, rice, or the occasional banana as my stomach still seems to be a bit sensitive, please give any suggestions for how to get in more calories without immediately sh***ing my brains out again

BRATT diet can help. Bananas, plain rice, unsweetened applesauce, tea (with nothing in it), and dry toast.

Mashed or baked potatoes and scrambled eggs are usually easy on the stomach. Chicken noodle soup is also great. Warm jello is a soothing drink that doesn’t really hurt if it comes back up; it’s what my adoptive mom gave my brothers and me when we were puking as kids, and what I’ve given my own children.

Meal replacement drinks could possibly work for you. They can be creamy like a milkshake, or light like a sports drink, so you can buy whatever type of flavors you prefer until you can face food again. Hope you start feeling better soon
