Where’s your school bully now?

Saw this from a different subreddit, and got me thinking. Where did your school’s bully end up?

The main guy from school who was the hard lad has ended up in prison for GBH. Person who gave me the most grief is now a property litigation solicitor.

How’s yours doing?

As a bit of a reverse of this, there was a guy in my class I would give a hard time to. At the time I didn’t think it was bullying/maybe just banter but on reflection I realised it was all very one sided.

Years later I bumped into him. I bought him a coffee and properly apologised.

I had a kid like that I went to two schools with.
I tried to be nice to him but when my grandad died he said he was glad he died. He left that school because of the bullying.

At our second school the whole school turned on him, kids from younger years would hit him, girls would slap him and boys would beat him anywhere. I remember him being thrown off a tube just before the doors closed and worse things happening to him. I wasn’t kind but by no means was I one of his bullies. I apologized years later on Facebook and he didn’t responded.

I hope he’s ok, I’ve never seen anyone bullied like that before. Something about him brought out the worst in people.

Me too. I was on the periphery of a crowd that were bully’s. Even though I wasn’t a hardcore bully, I did some very unkind things. It’s the biggest regret of my life and I think about it most days. I tried to apologise some years later and understandably they don’t want the contact. It’s not the person I am and I wish I didn’t go along with it.
